We offer a two-bedroom in-law basement apartment, well-designed and newly constructed, quietly nestled just four blocks from the heart of the lively Alberta Arts district in the center of Northeast Portland. It features King-size Keetsa Pillow Top beds in each bedroom, a charming eat-in kitchen, a spacious bathroom with luxurious tiled shower/tub, washer-dryer in unit, private patio seating, antique glass doorknobs, thoughtful new and vintage furnishings. The space The apartment is perfect for friends, couples or a family traveling together. This approximately 800 square foot daylight basement apartment has ceilings of about 7 feet and windows in three directions. There are two large bedrooms each with seating areas, an eat-in kitchen, a generously sized bathroom, a washer/dryer, a private outdoor seating space and amenities you'd expect at a nice hotel such as hair dryer, iron, ironing board, fans, high quality bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, high-thread-count bed linens, quilts, blankets and cozy throws. Both bedrooms contain comfortable Keetsa-brand king-size beds. High-speed wifi is 5G and ready for remote work or zoom calls. One bedroom has a smart TV with Roku - ready for your personal Netflix or Hulu logins. We have books and toys for the younger travelers, and we also have a Pack-n-Play available for you. We will only put the Pack-n-Play in the apartment if you need it - please let your host know ahead of your arrival. The kitchen features beautiful wood and tile finishes and is thoughtfully stocked with dishes, flatware, cooking pots and pans, tea kettle, a French Press, microwave and other needs. The bathroom has a large tub and rain shower, large pedestal sink, generous storage cubby for your toiletries and a venting ceiling fan to clear the steam. There is a washer/dryer for you in the unit, with detergent and dryer sheets provided. A private, furnished patio is right outside the kitchen for your exclusive enjoyment, assuming there's dry weather. There is not a separate common space beyond the bedrooms, aside from the eat-in kitchen; all rooms are depicted in the listing photos. The apartment has its own entrance and is entirely private and separate; a family lives in the upstairs unit, and while you may hear steps and sounds through the floor, the apartment is well sound-insulated for everyday sounds like talking, music or television. Guest access In addition to the apartment, guests have access to the furnished outdoor seating area (between the house and garage). The upstairs home and fenced-in patio/garden along the sidewalk are private areas for the upstairs family. Other things to note We ask that all guests respect the neighborhood, and the close proximity of neighbors and upstairs tenants, by being quieter between 10pm and 7am.
