Remodeled-brand new, full kitchen that will meet all your needs, including a Keurig and coffee grinder. Private back yard with deck holding a BBQ grill and fire pit. The space *NO PETS / NO SMOKING, VAPING, HOOKAH INDOORS / NO OUTDOOR FIRES ALLOWED. Propane (gas) only which we have on the property.* We cannot control Mother Nature (snow/weather) and therefore will not issue refunds for Mother Nature complaints (too much snow, not enough snow) or power outages which are common in Big Bear due to Mother Nature / winds. You will have the entire, almost 1500 square foot cabin to yourself other than an owners locked closet and hallway closet. The GroveCabinGetaway is your private, oasis paradise in the mountains-located on a hillside in Moonridge, a quiet and peaceful town in Big Bear. With an enormous front deck to enjoy, entertain, and witness amazing views, this cabin is everything you’d dreamed Big Bear to be and more! A single level cabin with stair access (2 flights). 3 beds, 2 bath and roughly 1500 square foot. Master includes a King with a Master Bath. Second bedroom contains a Queen bed. 3rd bedroom has three single beds, one of which is a pullout trundle, the kids love it! We also have a nice, comfortable fold out memory foam mattress (futon). This is located in the closet. Beautifully updated, spacious main living area/kitchen for you and your friends & family to enjoy. Kitchen boasts new granite countertops and dark backsplash, new large sink. Also outfitted with new, stainless steel appliances. Two brand new 50 inch smart TVs (main living area and master) and a Pacman arcade with several games! Long, custom wooden bar with tall wooden cabin-esque stools keeping that traditional Big Bear mountain feel. Beautifully redone vinyl plank luxury floors throughout the cabin that mimic the wood look and feel. Two full baths have both been remodeled with new toilets and upgraded furnishings. Large front deck to watch the sunset and relax that sits on top of the trees with views of Snow Summit. Back deck is private, has a nice seating area, propane fire pit, and BBQ grill. You are going to love it! Entire cabin has has new modern furnishings and art. Wood tongue-and-groove ceiling in the main room with mostly wooden cabin look. Cabin is close enough to all the action, but when you're in the cabin itself you'd never know it. SNOW Tire chains may be required when coming up the mountain. Always check the forecast and come prepared (blankets, water, snacks, should the road up the hill be backed up. We do our best to keep the snow removed from the driveway and main walkways, but sometimes arrival times and snow removal cannot be coordinated. In this case, we do have snow shovels on the premises! You can make a snowman or snow angel while you’re at it! FUN ACTIVITIES We are close to all of the fun stuff to do in Big Bear : hiking, mountain biking, lake (relax, fish, boat, paddle board, water activities), jeeping, skiing and snowboarding (both resorts close by), a few minutes drive to downtown nightlife (restaurants, bars, etc), zoo (walkable), grocery stores are also close by. Big Bear is a great destination for summer and winter! We are close enough to all of the fun things, yet, the cabin feels private (surrounded by trees, on a hill, lots of nature nearby). Come and play!! Guest access 2 spots available for parking. Street parking is NOT permitted in Big Bear. The driveway is on a slope. We recommend driving past the cabin and backing in carefully, or going just up the street past the cabin, looping back down the hill and pulling straight into the driveway. Parking brake redommended. Please watch your step when getting in and out of your vehicles and careful not to bump your door into a retaining wall or tree. Next is the stair climb to access the single level cabin. There are 2 flights of stairs. Please be very careful going up and down the stairs and pay close attention to children when near or on the stairs. Other things to note There are 2 flights of stairs to enter the single story cabin with views. Cabin is located on the side of a hill. Please be very careful on the stairs and utilize hand rails. Please consider the stairs when booking. Please Note...Booking Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK, President’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day & Veteran’s Day must be 3 night stays or more. Holiday weekends are Fri - Mon. Our goal is to be upfront with our renter expectations. If you have any questions, requests, or concerns, please ask them before booking our cabin. The person booking the cabin must be 25 years or older and be the one occupying our property. They are responsible for all guest behavior and knowledge of our house rules and booking agreement stipulations…as well as rules set forth by Airbnb. If you have a special need, please be transparent so we can make accommodations in advance of your stay. If there is something in the cabin that needs our attention, please notify us within the first hour of your arrival. Security Deposit: Will be collected by Airbnb. Reasons for not receiving your entire deposit back include loss or damage to the property, not checking out by noon, the need for excessive cleaning, failure to remove trash from the premises, not following house rules/requests including smoke damage (fireplace damper), exceeding the number of guests/cars, cigarette butts/smoke/damage (vape & hookah), pets of any kind, and property management visits &/or eviction for house rule enforcement. Any renter/reservation made under a false pretense, illegal internet usage, &/or other illegal substances/activity, failure to follow house rules, will forfeit ALL funds paid to owner by way of AirBnB... renters and their guests must vacate the premises immediately. Maximum occupancy includes 8 people total. Parking is not allowed on the street when there is snow. Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am in Big Bear. This is monitored by code enforcement who issue citations with hefty fines. Nothing should be removed from the property except the renter's own personal belongings... including trash, perishable items, and food from refrigerator/freezer. We cannot be responsible for any of your personal possessions inside, or outside, our home. We cannot be held responsible for any mechanical/electric/plumbing failure on our property. We will make every effort to repair/fix the problem. Unless you request otherwise, you give permission for a repairman to enter the home upon us notifying you of the approximate time and date in advance. If you are not able to give access, the problem will not be able to be fixed, and we will not reimburse any funds. There are a few phenomenons that occur in the mountains including moths, flies, ants, pollen, dust, rodents, wild animals, weather and power outages.
