Please note that the driveway entrance is steep; during winter, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended in case of snow. While the property feels peaceful and rural, it’s only 1 mile from Barryville, where you’ll find a general store, restaurants, and local charm. Other things to note We love the Barryville community and the people and small businesses that make it special. To give back, we donate 1% of every stay to a local family in need through the Barryville Farmer’s Market initiative. We also care deeply about the trees on our property, which clean the air, filter water, and support mental health—plus, they fight climate change. For every booking, we plant 3 trees through One Tree Planted. The property is stunning year-round, with breathtaking views of the Delaware River Valley—lush green in summer, vibrant in fall, snowy in winter, and fog-draped in spring. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and fishing. Local attractions include farmers’ markets, high-quality restaurants, breweries, sports bars, art galleries, and antiques. The home is fully equipped for comfort: kitchen with drip and French press coffee makers, fast Wi-Fi, 55"/65" smart TVs, board games, record player, and books. Bedding and towels are premium: memory foam mattresses, Threshold sheets, Utopia pillows/duvets, and Frontage cotton resort towels. If you’d like a fire, please bring your own wood, as the on-site firewood is still seasoning. The schoolhouse is 170 years old and surrounded by nature. Occasionally, outside elements may enter despite our best efforts—please keep doors closed and window screens in place when possible. We kindly ask that guests treat the property, home, and belongings with respect. A lot of care has gone into making this space comfortable, and we hope you enjoy it and help us preserve it for future guests. Registration Details 09760922
