A mature forest and a beautiful pond are what you'll see when you arrive at this cozy, secluded, full log cabin. The cabin was recently completely renovated (Mar/April 2025)from log to log and is stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. It has all new appliances, furniture, fixtures, bathroom, cabinetry. 💚 It is the perfect homebase to relax after a long day of hiking Frog Bay, Houghton Falls, Lost Creek Falls, Meyers Beach, or shopping in nearby Bayfield, Washburn, or Cornucopia. The space The Squirrel was recently remodeled to make it a more open concept, Trappers cabin-like feeling. The outdoor space has a fire pit next to the pond with four Adirondack chairs, a tripod for over the fire pit cooking, a propane grill, seating area with umbrella. There is also a screened porch for relaxing in a bug-free environment. Guest access For recreation, you can hop on your bicycle and ride a mile down to the sandy shores of Lake Superior or you can drive your ATV or snowmobile right out of the cabin driveway and explore the Bayfield area and the Wisconsin State trail system. There are 10-acres of beautiful, wooded trails on the cabin property to walk and explore. Other things to note I am available 24/7 to assist with any issues that may arise during your stay.
