Once owned by Canada’s first interior decorator, Kate Reed who decorated most of the CP hotels including The Algonquin, this charming cottage sits next to the famous Algonquin Resort in a picturesque historic town. Enjoy stunning ocean views from the sunroom, private deck, or second-floor balcony. The four unique bedrooms are designed for comfort and style—two have private garden access, and one features a balcony overlooking the ocean. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, two with luxurious soaker tubs. The bedrooms come with Hamuq Organic Hybrid queen beds, quality linens, and flat-screen TVs. The main level features a chef’s kitchen with top-quality appliances, a formal dining room with a gas fireplace, and a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace. A peaceful parlour overlooks the spacious back garden. For extra space or privacy, the one-bedroom Coach House can be rented by guests of the main house. The Coach House is air-conditioned and has a kitchenette, a sitting area with a day bed, and a private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There is also has a balcony with lovely garden views. (The Coach House is not rented separately from the main house.) Please enquire if you are interested in using it. Other things to note Hot water is provided by two tankless water heaters - it may take a minute to heat up but you will never run out. The kitchen is stocked with a good selection of pantry essentials including spices, flour, sugar, pasta, tomato paste, rice etc. These are there for your convenience and the next persons so if you finish something we ask that you replace it.
