South padre Island is visitor friendly year round and there are a myriad of many fun and interesting activities. There are many delicious restaurants to enjoy locally caught seafood or some will even prepare your own catch. Some even within walking distance. Explore the island from a golf cart, or bike around town or on the beach. You can also go horseback riding, parasailing, and explore the coastal fishing/ tournaments. Individual charter and group fishing trips are all available. Play mini golf, enjoy nightclubs, and have fun at a huge waterpark that’s only a couple miles away. For the nature enthusiast and animal lovers, our coastal marshlands are home to hundreds of species of rare and endangered animals and are also a hotspot for migrating birds and ocean life.
