However, we receive 80-100 inches of snow annually, Oct - April. 4x4 or snow chains are highly recommended/ required. If conditions are impeding travel there is a chance we would need to cancel booking until conditions improve. ***Important Summer Information*** Summer months on Beech Mountain are mostly cool; mid to low 70s in the afternoons in August. We do have 1 air conditioner for the upstairs living area for use on the rare afternoons it gets into the upper 70s and low 80s. There is no central air conditioning.
