With a large living/dining area featuring limestone floors and with stylish, modern kitchen, bathroom and downstairs shower room, this gorgeous rustic retreat is the perfect hideaway. Exuding character, including a Norfolk winder staircase, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams upstairs, this unique bolt hole offers a very special holiday experience as it conjures up mystery and excitement. Light and bright, the spacious sitting room with dining area has been thoughtfully furnished with vintage pieces and Farrow and Ball accents, meaning little cottage is relaxed and tranquil. On winter nights, light the fire and snuggle up together to watch a good film with a glass of wine. Upstairs, on the first floor, two beautifully presented bedrooms. The master bedroom hosts a king-size bed with direct access to the family bathroom. Twin beds are provided in bedroom two, and a third mezzanine bedroom is reached via ship's ladder. With vaulted oak beamed ceilings, this bedroom offers twin beds and makes an exciting place for children to sleep. Outside, the rear south-facing garden is laid to lawn with a patio that can be accessed from the kitchen. Garden furniture offers seating for six guests, and with a charcoal barbecue provided, dining al fresco will surely beckon. Set close to the beautiful North Norfolk coast, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Jasmine Cottage sits opposite the village green, play area, pub and tennis courts in the centre of South Creake. The cottage boasts a sunny garden to relax in. On warmer days, enjoy eating breakfast outside, or dine al fresco on an evening whilst watching the vibrant bird life. Fashionable Burnham Market, Norfolk's loveliest village, is a short drive away, which is home to numerous independent boutiques and restaurants that are very hard to resist! A twenty minute drive north leads to the fantastic sandy beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea, where you can tuck yourself away in the dunes and enjoy long summer days sunbathing. This property can also be booked as a sleeps six option, with the addition of an annexe across the garden, listed as Jasmine Cottage. Additional Information: Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). Jasmine Cottage is situated on the B1105, and as such, may experience some road noise at busier times of day. Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot. Kitchen/Breakfast room Well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, electric hob, extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice box and washer/dryer. Shower room With a rainfall shower, wash basin and WC and heated towel rail. Norfolk Winder stairs; enclosed, steep, curved and narrow with a handrail on one side. First Floor: Landing (vaulted) With twin beds. Ship's ladder leading up to mezzanine bedroom. Master bedroom With a king-size bed and built-in wardrobe, television and door to family bathroom. Family bathroom With a bath and handheld shower, wash basin and WC and heated towel rail. Mezzanine children's bedroom Located in the eaves and accessed via a ship's ladder, this children's bedroom is unique although care must be taken when accessing and exiting the bedroom which has two small children's beds side-by-side. A gate is fitted to the top of the staircase. Please request on booking if you wish to use the beds on the mezzanine level if not these will not be made up for your stay. Outside: Situated to the rear of the property, the rear garden is south facing and is laid to lawn with a patio which leads out from the kitchen. The garden furniture includes a table and seating for 6 with a parasol. There is a charcoal barbecue. There is parking on the lay-by outside the cottage.
