The Macadamia Suite is located on our beautiful 15 acre property Turkey's Nest, a registered wildlife refuge surrounded by pristine rainforest. Mount Glorious is just 40km from Brisbane CBD, close to the city, yet a world away! The space The Macadamia Rainforest Suite is a private, self-contained studio, designed to provide the ultimate in privacy and relaxation. It occupies a separate wing of our house, and has a private entry from, and access to, the verandah which overlooks the rainforest. It is a perfect place to escape the bustle of everyday life. The Macadamia Rainforest Suite features beautiful rose gum timber panelling, a relaxing claw foot bath, a bay window and dining nook looking out to the forest, cosy fireplace, kitchen, and lounge. Cooking facilities consist of a two-burner electric cook top, an electric frypan and a barbeque. Mount Glorious has a cafe and a restaurant open during the day. There is no evening dining. A local chef will provide meals to your suite (prior bookings necessary). Contact us for details. The suite offers access to the verandah with outdoor seating and a barbeque. Guests are welcome to explore our extensive rainforest property, including our rainforest track. Turkey's Nest is close to the local cafés and restaurant, and is less than a kilometre from the Maiala section of D'Aguilar National Park which has a picnic area and a variety of bush walking tracks. During your stay Peace and privacy for our guests is our main aim. The studio forms a separate wing of the house and is accessed via a private entrance. No-one goes past your door, and the suite is separated from our living areas by two doors and an unused room, making it totally peaceful and private. However we are available onsite should you need anything. We have many regular guests, and enjoy meeting the many travellers who come to Mount Glorious to relax and spend a quiet time together, and savour a forest environment so close to the city.
