This stunning custom home stands on 6 acres of redwoods, adjacent to the picturesque seaside town of Trinidad and 30 minute drive to Redwood National Park. Enjoy an evening under the stars around the outdoor fire ring, or in the hot tub or sauna after a day exploring the beautiful, rugged beaches of the North Coast. Savor the rich culture, arts and cuisine of Humboldt County or outdoor adventuring, hiking, birding or wildlife viewing, immersed in the majesty of the tallest trees in the world! The space The unique architecture of this retreat home in the redwoods provides ample space for groups of up to 13 guests and will enhance your time on the stunning and rugged north coast of California. There are 4 proper bedrooms (one with a king bed, 2 with queens, and one room with bunk beds). For additional private sleeping spaces, there is a rec room and a 3rd story sunroom with a private balcony, each with full sized fold out futons with linens and bedding. In addition, for children under 12, we provide 3 tri-fold mattresses with bedding to accommodate groups up to 16 people. The dining table seats 8-10 and a breakfast bar adds room for three more for ample dining seating. The rec room provides open space and has books, lots of family board games and yoga mats for your group's camaraderie, relaxation and entertainment together. Starlink internet and a TV with Netflix will round out your comfortable stay in this exquisite home. The Dream House affords beautiful views, serenity and privacy. The 6 wooded acres are also shared with two other Air BnB dwellings, which are also available to rent for a large group or extended family gathering, hosting up to a total combination of 25 guests. Overall, this home in the redwoods is an excellent choice for large groups or extended family gatherings, with plenty of space, amenities, outdoor adventure and entertainment options. Other things to note ~ Please note if you would like to book with us more than 12 months in advance, feel free to contact us! HOUSE RULES 1) There is an extra $50 charge per night for each guest over 7 guests (up to 15 guests). 2) We allow pets. There is a $50 one time pet fee, per pet. Guests that do not pick up dog excitement from the property will be charged a fine of $100. 3) IMPORTANT: Please note that we and Air BnB have very strict “no party” policies. Unauthorized gatherings of more than the number of people listed on your reservation may result in: • guest reviews indicating disrespect of rules • substantial fines • Air BnB sanctions • immediate eviction and/or all of the above. Thank you for your adherence to this very important rule. (We have a firm 10 PM quiet policy regardless.) 4) As we have a 'no shoes policy' on the carpeted upstairs of the home, a pair of house slippers may be something you'd like to slip into your suitcase. 5) Please enjoy the BBQ grill and leave it as clean as you found it. 6) Quiet hours of 10pm-9am. thank you. 7) Unauthorized check out past 11am will be billed at $100 hr. 8) EV CHARGING: 2 minutes down the road, in front of the Trinidad Library at 380 Janis Ct., there is a Level 2 240v charger with two 30 amp cords.
