The beautiful market towns of Winchcombe, Stow-on-the Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden are all an easy drive away, and for a day trip, why not visit the Roman spa town of Bath; Cheltenham and its racecourse; Oxford’s dreaming spires; Stroud and its artists; Tetbury with its antique shops and ancient covered market; Malmesbury and its abbey, (the burial site of Athelstan, the first king of all England); and Bristol with its historic docks?
