The apartment overlooks Piazza Luigi Masi, in the center of Petrignano d'Assisi, and is in a strategic position to reach nearby Assisi and all the main historical villages and cities of art of Umbria. The house is ideal for those who love to stay in environments with antique charm without having to give up the comfort and convenience of having all the services under the house, without any ZTL. Pets are WELCOME The space In the oldest part of the house where the apartment is located, General Luigi Masi was born in 1814, the glory of the Italian Risorgimento, doctor, poet and major military man, general and commander of the "Umbria brigade" who actively contributed to the realization of the unity of Italy. The apartment, renovated in 2016, overlooks the church dedicated to the patron saint of the town, San Pietro Apostolo, the characteristic bell tower and the castle which, together with the bridge over the Chiascio river, was the subject of furious disputes between the fiefdoms of Perugia and Assisi, a castle that represents one of the many "castra" of the Assisi countryside, erected as a defensive bulwark right at the point of greatest passage of armies and pilgrims heading to Assisi. The apartment is equipped with free wifi, and consists of a large kitchen, a double bedroom, a bedroom communicating with the double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment, embellished with antique and vintage furniture, ceilings with wooden beams and exposed tiles, also has a private garden, fully fenced, equipped on request with a barbecue, adorned with rose plants, jasmine, wisteria and lavender and an ancient central pergola of strawberry grapes that gives shade to a garden table with chairs where, in the summer, you can spend moments outdoors and play with the pets that are your travel companions and our very welcome guests. Guest access Guests can take advantage of the small square in front of the house for loading and unloading luggage, then they will have a reserved parking space in the private parking lot in Via Matteotti 13, just 30 meters from the house. In front of the house, you can park for free with a parking disc on weekdays and for daytime parking, free parking at night and on Sundays. Fenced place for motorcycles and bicycles. Other things to note The apartment is divided into 4 rooms in addition to the bathroom. The kitchen, equipped with plates, glasses, dishes and placemats, is equipped with a four-burner hob, oven, refrigerator, washing machine, shabby-style chairs and a table with a marble top.
