The Pacific Northwest House is nestled in a rural suburb southeast of the city of Salem, Oregon. Perfect for traveling for work or leisure to the Salem area, or the surrounding towns of Silverton, Stayton and Sublimity. A few miles from the I-5 makes travel north to Portland or south to Eugene areas a breeze. The house sits on a dead-end street, and backs up to a small private lake co-owned by the hosts and surrounding neighbors. It is NOT within the city limits, so a vehicle will be needed. The space The Pacific Northwest house has been newly updated (2020) with vacationers in mind. There are three bedrooms (master suite: queen bed, 2nd bedroom: queen bed and crib, 3rd bedroom: king bed), a large living room, two full bathrooms (one in the master suite). The full kitchen will delight chefs with an array of cooking and baking dishes and utensils - perfect for those that like to cook dinners in. A large covered patio looks out over the lake and is furnished with leisure and relaxation as the plan. Access to the lake is restricted, but near it you will find a firepit available for guest use with plenty of firewood provided. The large grassy back lawn is fully fenced and perfect for playing on. Parking is available for 3 cars in the driveway (we are sorry, but the garage is for host's use/storage only and is kept locked). Please note this is not a party house. If you plan to party, rent elsewhere. This house is in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood and we expect our guests here to respect our neighbors with relation to noise level and the number of persons that visit the house. Guest access Guests must have a vehicle to get around our neighborhood. This is a rural subdivision without public transportation. The house is outside of the city limits. Parking is available for 3 vehicles in the driveway and gravel strip next to the driveway only. RVs and trailers of any kind must be pre-approved by the host (please message before booking to confirm approval). Other things to note The hosts live nearby and are usually available quickly should assistance be needed. There are security cameras on the exterior front, sides, and back (facing out toward lake) of the property for guest safety and the security of our house. Cameras are on at all time, motion activated, with sound. There are no cameras inside, or pointed toward the inside from the exterior. An important note from your hosts: We are pretty laid back hosts but fully expect our house rules to be followed. They are simple rules, and are in existence for specific reasons. Before you book, please read the house rule section and make sure you can abide by them. Should any of our house rules be broken, please know up front that we have the right to cancel your reservation at any time, with no refund at all, at which point you will need to leave our house. We would love to never have to enforce this policy, so kindly ask that all guests abide by the house rules agreed to upon booking. If you cannot, this property is not the best fit for you and we suggest you look for a property to better accommodate you.
