This guest suite harkens back to an authentic 1930s Adirondack cabin that features a reclaimed barn wood interior with vaulted ceilings and antique beams. Outside enjoy our fantastic deck with a Cabana kitchen and fire pit. A short stroll will lead you to the heart of the hamlet where you will find an array of shops and restaurants. The lower paved driveway is for guest use. Please enter on the driveway designated for Loblolly Cottage, not the paved driveway for the main house. Guests are asked NOT to access our main house and yard. PLEASE NOTE: The Cabana Kitchen on the deck and the fire pit is seasonal, open April through November. Host lives in main house on property and is available to guests throughout their stay. Germantown offers walkable sidewalks that lead to the heart of the hamlet where you'll find Gaskins, our 5-star restaurant, the famous Otto's Market, as well as a floral shop, a liquor store, retail shops and laundry facilities. Throughout the year, Germantown hosts many events such as the town wide yard sale and stroll, spectacular 4th of July fireworks, a wildly popular Halloween trick or treat night, and the holiday stroll in early December. Sidewalks, bicycles, Uber, Lyft, or your own car that can be parked in the cottage driveway. We are taking extra precautions in our cleaning methods to make sure that the Cottage is extra sanitized during this time because of Covid-19.
