This gorgeous cottage offers the perfect intimate or family getaway. With a bar and luxury bathtub on the deck you will feel free and happy taking in the amazing ocean view. (Bath in summer is subject to water availability). Beaches, cafes, hotel, restaurants, cellar doors and tourist attractions are all within a walk or short drive. Kangaroo Island is as picturesque as it is rugged and I am yet to find a person disappointed with their stay on the island and more importantly, in my cottage. The space The cottage is on rain water and I ask for people to be mindful when showering and washing dishes. Use of the bath on the deck is subject to rain fall and tank level. High summer time may deem use unavailable. The beds are outrageously comfortable and the cottage is equipped with plenty of books, movies, games and outdoor activity equipment. WIFI details and portable speaker located in the lounge. Tea and coffee, as well as a well stocked pantry for basic cooking needs are included. Guest access You have access to the entire cottage and grounds. Other things to note It is a home stay and therefore fully equip with all your usual homely needs. You will have use of the entire house and property, as well as other perks upon discussion. If you are travelling via the ferry - you will dock in Penneshaw. Upon disembarking, you will pass through the small township and have access to the IGA, petrol station, post office, chemist and other small cafes/shops on the way. IGA closes at 7pm whereas the petrol station and other venues may alter on the days but predominately close up around 5-6pm... Penneshaw Hotel is open for meals and beverages... best to book to avoid disappointment.
