Nestled in tranquil rural Pyes Pa, just 4 km from town essentials, this private and spacious studio offers an ideal retreat for couples seeking relaxation. Enjoy a secluded tropical courtyard complete with a chiminea, sunset deck overlooking serene countryside hills, a salt water pool (shared with hosts but full privacy given). Ample safe parking for trailers, bikes, boats, campervans. Conveniently located off Tauranga direct road from Rotorua, perfect for those travelling through. The space On arrival drive up our tree lined driveway to your private studio which is situated near but completely separate from owners dwelling. You have private access to come and go as you please. Inside you will find modern interiors in a spacious studio with air conditioning for summer comfort/heating for winter warmth. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the amenities one needs to cook a lovely meal; bench top oven, hobs, slow cooker, microwave and full size fridge freezer. Or enjoy the private back courtyard cooking on the bbq. Alternatively enjoy fantastic restaurants and takeaway options within a 5 min drive. Relax on the leather sofa while watching our 55" smart tv or sit outside on a variety of furnishings to take in the ambience of rural life. The studio has a queen bed for your peaceful rest made up with top quality linens, extra blankets and pillows. You have your own private bathroom with towels, bathrobes and soaps provided. There is a laundry facility within your room to use at any time with an outdoor clothes line close by. We have unlimited internet available, great cellphone service, a flexible working space and comfy office chair on request for guest use. Take advantage of our saltwater swimming pool in the summer months. A guest favourite. This is a shared space with the owners but all privacy given when in use. There is an amazing private space we've called the 'Sunset deck' where you can enjoy the magical peace and tranquillity of country life while watching the sun disappear behind the hills. Or relax in your own little private courtyard with tropical plants as a privacy screen, a chiminea fireplace, a bbq for cooking and an outdoor dining table for enjoying those culinary delights. Take advantage of our picnic basket with blankets to travel around or enjoy a sunset looking down our gully from the sunset deck over to Tauriko and the Kaimai hills or venture under our trees for a canopy retreat. Guest access Secure pin-pad entry at the gate requires a code which is given to guests 24 hours before arrival, along with instructions how to find the property. Guests are then provided a key with gate remote for during your stay. We like to greet our guests upon arrival but you are welcome to enter the studio without this if you prefer. Guests have complete access to come and go as you please away from owners dwelling. The swimming pool is a shared space with the owners which is available for use during summer months. There is ample safe parking for car/boat/trailer right outside your accommodation (please enquire first). Other things to note We are in prime location to some very amazing wedding venues (Ataahua, Phoenix Valley - to name a few). Grace hospital is 5 km away so we are the perfect spot to re-couperate after surgery, or perhaps if you are the visitor and need a space to yourself. Tauriko Business Park & Industrial 5 min away. The Crossing shopping centre is just 6km, Event Cinema, Pak n Save, restaurants and eateries, great shopping and lots of free parking. 'AIMS games travellers' we are a 2 min drive from Aquinas College and 15 to 20 min from Tauranga Girls or Boys College, Tauranga BMX track or Bay Park, 30 min from Blake Park in Mount Maunganui, BayWave swimming venue or Papamoa sports arenas (these times are estimates as traffic during AIMS week always gets really congested so be sure to add extra time to your trip) Mount Maunganui and it's golden sand beach just 25 min drive, walk around or up the beautiful Mauao (The Mount) At least 6 different golf courses within easy driving distance Mountain bike trails such as Oropi (on our road), Tect park, and The Redwoods Bayfair Shopping Centre or Mount Main Street shopping and restaurants 25 min drive Tauranga airport 20km Uber and Taxi's will drop off and pick up from our gateway. Uber meals will deliver but you must meet them at our gateway. Close dining options only a few minutes away at the Pyes Pa shops with a selection of restaurants and takeaways, or drive further to an array of waterfront options in Tauranga city or Mount Maunganui 15-20 minute drive. We have ample parking for boats, trailers, motorbikes, caravans, motorhomes. Totally secure and secluded from roadside view with pinpad entry only on our gate. Please ask first so that we are aware of your needs. We are a barn-raised chicken farm with large sheds at the entrance to the property which you will drive past to get to the accommodation. There may be farm odours, very rare occasion, depending on wind direction but not offensive in your accommodation. (We just rather people are aware of what type of rural property we are). We also have a couple of cows grazing, one very friendly dog, and two cats.
