Modern, Historic Loft Overlooking Downtown

Experience history in a modern way while staying in this newly remodeled historic loft. Located above the Weathered Wood Home boutique and overlooking Main Street, you'll be in the center of Council Grove's historic district. Steps away from the Neosho Riverwalk, Flint Hills Nature Trail, shopping, dining, and the new Riverbank Brewery. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. The space This historic building was constructed in 1887 but has the look and feel of a modern city loft. Exposed brick walls and 14' tall ceilings make the space feel grand but also inviting. The decor blends the new with the old by using several antique pieces that were with the building from the beginning. We want to make families feel right at home during their stay. We have several board games and books to occupy kids and a child's pack-and-play in the closet if needed. We also have an air mattress available in the loft's closet if needed for additional guests. Our kitchen has everything to make a home-cooked meal, but if you're looking for convenience we're located just steps away from Chinese and Mexican take-out food. You also have the option to grill and gather around the fire pit on our outdoor deck. *Please note, we do have another rental available to book (The Alexander Studio) that is completely separated from this loft but has shared access to this loft's exterior hallway and outdoor deck. Guest access You can access the loft from the front door on Main Street and park anywhere along the street. Please keep in mind the stairs you'll have to walk up in order to get to the loft. We'll be happy to assist in helping carry your luggage if needed, just let us know when booking. Once up the stairs, you'll be in an exterior hallway that connects with our other loft, The Alexander Studio. The Crowley Suite has its name by its door so you know which loft is yours. You may also access your loft from the outdoor deck. Both lofts have shared access to the deck, grill, and fire pit. Other things to note This loft is located over the Weathered Wood Home boutique. We're open Wednesday-Saturday 11-5 and hope you'll stop in to see us! You'll receive 10% off in our boutique during your stay.
