The space *🔥Wood fired Hot tub available for an additional charge. This needs to be arranged beforehand. Please ask before booking. The wood fired hot tub is filled and heated by guests and this takes about 3 hours before it’s ready for use. If you want to use the tub on your first evening, it is worth remembering to start heating the tub up as soon as you arrive. 🌳The location of our property is in quiet countryside a few minutes walk from the centre of our village, Butterton, where there is the Black Lion Inn that serves locally sourced food and real ales (advisable to book). 🐄Fenns Barn is situated in our farmyard opposite Foggs’ Barn (these properties can be booked together). 🌳The Manifold Valley is a 15 minute walk down the road, where you can join the Manifold Track and take a walk to Thor’s Cave. There is also Wetton Mill Tea rooms. We are in easy reach of the popular tourist towns Bakewell, Buxton, Ashbourne and Matlock all within a 40 minute drive. Our nearest town for collection of provisions is the market town of Leek, 15 minute drive. This offers market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays. With a Totally Local market on the first Sunday in the month. ⭐️The popular tourist attraction of Alton Towers is a 25 minute drive and the pottery factories of Stoke on Trent are a 45 minute drive. A visit to Wedgewood, Emma Bridgewater to pick up some pottery or a visit to Gladstone pottery museum which featured in 24 hrs in the past and Middleport pottery where the great pottery throw down is filmed. Guest access The whole of the barn is for your use. There is a private garden to use at the rear with a play house. 🐄We ask that you keep out of the farm buildings that surround the farm yard. 🛏We do have a travel cot and high chair in the cottage for a younger child, however you need to bring bedding for the travel cot. Checkout more photos on IG @Fenns Farm Accommodation Other things to note 💤If you want to get away for peace and quiet, then Fenns Barn is the place to stay. Lots of lovely country walks from the door. Fenns Barn shares the farmyard with Foggs’ Barn, which is opposite. The two barns can be booked together also. Please be mindful of other guests during your stay. 📱 There is no mobile phone signal within the cottage. You will need to use wifi calling or other calling apps inside the property. If having food delivered you will need to give directions as the property does not have a postal address. Please note that the shower cubicle has a small step up into it and no hand rail in shower. There is a step down and a step up into the front door, the side door has a small ramp. The wood fired hot tub is an additional cost and if guests wish to have use of this please discuss at time of booking.
