Kuaotunu's hideaway- Peebles Cottage

We are a small adult family owned boutique holiday cottage along side our home. We seek to offer you a personal and helpful service for your stay with us here in Kuaotunu. Intimate and quaint, set in peaceful farm surroundings alongside mature native bush and only minutes from the best beaches New Zealand has to offer, bird song, starry nights and Kiwi calls and much more. We offer a touch of quality and comfort. We welcome all with no discrimination. The space Enjoy the elevated deck views into the bush. We are set well off the main road so quiet and peaceful. The cottage has just been upgraded with an extension and new fixtures and fittings. You have a small separate external entry, under cover outdoor kitchen with a breakfast bar and equipped with a microwave, fridge, bench top induction cooker and a small oven also available for your use. You have your own bbq. The sounds of native bird life is abundant, KIWI are heard at night which is unique and special in it's own right. Close to the most amazing beaches, bush walks, golfing, fishing and much more. Whitianga is 20 minutes away and Coromandel town about 30 mins, Matarangi, Opito, Otama and New Chum Beaches 8-15 minutes and Cathedral Cove about 50mins. Lukes kitchen our local has great food, entertainment & beverages. Along side our home and we totally respect your privacy and let you feel you are quite alone, though if you like a chat or need some help we are so happy to do that also. We go out of our way to make you welcome and comfortable and offer the pearls of our local knowledge. We have chosen to make our little cottage available for the people out there that appreciate quiet, nature and a get away from it experience. It is simple yet very rich and meets all your needs. No traffic, no street lights and no problem to us who value these treasures. Other things to note To make us easy to find be sure to read our instructions and screen shot, if you are unsure make contact and we will arrange to meet you at the drive entrance. The wifi is Starlink, Cell phone coverage, but patchy from time to time ,though rarely. Please note the kitchen is separate but attached and has external access. What we do have is peace, quiet, views, sounds and rest :-) Please be sure to note our checkout time is 10 am and we do need to turn things around for new arrivals and also manage our time.
