Charming holiday flat with a big balcony and stunning mountain view in peaceful Gimmelwald, a car free and peaceful farmers village. The village offers not only wonderful and natural landscapes, but also history and tradition. Embedded in the unique Jungfrau Region, Gimmelwald offers all kinds of experiences and adventures (hiking, skiing, sledging, via ferrata, paragliding, restaurants). The holiday flat is part of Esther's Guesthouse with its seven rooms and two flats. The space Our holiday flat is situated in an old wooden house at the center of Gimmelwald, a 1 minute's walk from the cable car station. The flat offers you a separate bedroom and a living room. With three single beds in the bedroom and a comfort sleeping sofa for two in the living room, the apartment can host a maximum of 5 people. You can cook yourself in the well furnished kitchen and you have your own private bathroom with shower. You can enjoy the stunning mountain view from your big balcony. The flat is on the first floor of Esther's Guesthouse - therefore you can use all infrastructure and services of the family run guesthouse. Guest access All the guesthouse infrastructure is at your service: you can use the coffee machine and the tea coin in the common area of the guesthouse. Get all needed informations at our info desk or with us during the reception hours. In the summer time, you find seating opportunities at our sun deck and in the garden. Why not do a nice barbecue in our garden? We have a gas grill you can use. We also have local ice cream and some cold drinks. In the winter time, you can use our ski room with shoe warmer to store your skis, boards and sledges and to dry your winter stuff. On demand, we offer a nice breakfast buffet with local products (16 CHF per person), we bake bread, croissants and rolls and prepare lunch packs for you. You find several restaurants (one in Gimmelwald, others in Mürren), farmer shops in the village and different shops up in Mürren. We also do laundry for you.
