Welcome to The Gate House, a beautifully decorated lakefront 4 bdrm, 3 bath home on Smith Mountain Lake with easy access to a private waterfront and dock. You will enjoy spectacular views of the main channel from our quiet cove with plenty of deep water to park your boat as well as swim, kayak, or paddle board. Ten minute access to boat rentals, grocery store, and restaurants! Enjoy your time with family/friends with two levels of entertainment space; something for everyone! The space Beautiful lakefront water views are seen from the moment that you walk in the front door at The Gate House. Over 2 acres and more than 280' of shoreline, you will see stunning views from just about every room in the house. Enjoy your view from the private dock or from one of three outside decks. Everything in the house has been updated to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Relax in the master bathroom whirlpool tub or enjoy music on the deck by the fire pit. Rent a boat and enjoy easy access to anything on the lake or relax in the private cove with 2 single kayaks and the paddle boards that are provided for your use. Rainy days and cooler weather are no problem with plenty of space for the whole family to spread out. A large downstairs entertainment area is complete with a foosball table, ping pong table, and a table to play games! Bed linens and bath towels are not provided but rentals are available! The kitchen is fully stocked to make your vacation at Smith Mountain Lake as easy and relaxing as possible! Indoor fireplace and garage are not available for guest use. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of the garage and a private owner's closet. Other things to note Memorial Day - Labor Day: Saturday to Saturday, 7 night rentals only. If you would like to book for more than one week at a time, please contact us! All rentals include a 12.3% local and state occupancy tax.
