*** THIS CABIN IS 2 MINUTES DRIVE FROM OBER SKI RESORT *** Welcome to your Mountain Home - The Hilltop Chalet!. A 1970's authentic rustic log cabin secluded in the forest and in the heart of Chalet Village, Gatlinburg. The space 4 miles to the Great Smoky Mountain park entrance and 3 miles to Gatlinburg downtown, the location is unbeatable with spectacular hiking trails, skiing at Ober, whitewater rafting, restaurants, shopping and more! Be immersed in privacy, nature and an absolutely wonderful feeling of being in a cabin perched on a hill. THE INTERIOR SPACE The Hilltop Chalet is an authentic log cabin built in the 1970. It is a huge (over 3000+ square feet) cabin but feels surprisingly cozy. It has an old world charm to it, if you are expecting a perfect modern home with newer finishes, it might not be the home for you. If you are looking for a rustic cabin in the woods, this is the one cabin for you! There are 3 large decks, 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a game room & a theatre room. *Bedrooms* Bedroom 1 - 1 King bed (sleeps 2) Bedroom 2 - 1 King bed (sleeps 2) Bedroom 3 - 1 Queen bed (sleeps 2) Bedroom 4 - Twin over Queen beds (sleeps 6) 1 living room has 2 Queen pull out sofa beds (sleeps 4) *Game Room* Engage in competitive games in the Game room, some of the games we provide are Pool table, Foosball, Pacman Arcade game *Theatre Room* Kick back, relax and watch movies in the theatre room with 6 reclining chairs & popcorn machine *What we provide at the Cabin* Kitchen - the cabin comes fully stocked with pots, pans, blender, spatulas for cooking, cups, plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives. We also provide an assortment of spices, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer Bathroom - Shampoo, soap, conditioner, hand soap, towels, toilet paper OUTSIDE The yard area has a stunning fire pit area (adorned with string lights) to relax and make smores with the family. There is also an inviting hot tub to soothe your body at the end of a tiring day. PETS Our home is pet friendly! We kindly request a $100 flat fee per pet. Two dogs max please. If you bring your dog, we request that you supervise them while outside - our home is in a forest and there is wildlife around. DRIVE to the CABIN The drive to the cabin is breathtaking, you will drive thru' windy roads with views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Please drive with caution. DRIVEWAY We are perched on a hill, so the driveway is a bit steep. That said, you will do fine with a 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive. We can easily fit upto 8 cars (2 in each row) CHALET VILLAGE OWNERS CLUB You will have access to 3 exclusive clubs located in Chalet Village, Alpine Clubhouse, South Clubhouse and North Clubhouse with amenities such as pools, tennis courts and much more.. Other things to note *SAFETY PROTOCOLS* You'll be in the mountains and so nature-related elements are inevitable like weather and wildlife. You may lose power if there is a snowstorm/fallen trees, etc. and might see bears from time to time. Please do follow all the safety protocols. *INTERNET* The cabin is in a rural area. While cellular internet is generally good and reliable, weather patterns might affect connectivity and speed from time to time. *TRAVEL INSURANCE* Travel insurance is highly recommended to help cover you for situations such as unforeseen cancelations, weather related issues, etc.
