Two super king bedrooms (both convertible to twins), a double bedroom and a single room with a pull out trundle that converts to a super king give the layout real versatility for different group configurations. The large light filled lounge is a genuinely lovely space to come back to after a day out; original floorboards, high ceilings and a calm, considered aesthetic throughout. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need for self catering, with a dishwasher, washing machine and a dining area for shared meals. The property is thoughtfully stocked with essentials and is well set up for families with young children, two travel cots, a highchair and stair gate all available. Outside, the sunny sheltered courtyard with its table and chairs is a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, one of those outdoor spaces that always gets used more than guests expect! Shanklin is one of the island's most characterful seaside towns and Regent Street puts you right in the heart of it. The famous Old Village with its thatched cottages, independent cafés and restaurants is moments away. The beach is a 17 minute walk or a quick hop on the bus. Sandown and Shanklin Golf Club is just minutes away for golfers, and the coastal paths for walking and cycling are some of the best on the island. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, veranda and patio garden. Other things to note -FERRY DISCOUNTS: We are able to offer guests up to 35% discount on Wightlink ferries and between 15-25% with Red Funnel. Information regarding this will be sent to all booked guests once your stay in confirmed. -The property is deceptively spacious once inside however guests should note that it is located through a private passageway between two shop premises, which may not be immediately obvious on arrival! At street level underneath the house, there is a lovely charity shop, open 6 days a week from 10.00-16.00. During the day Regent street is a pleasant hustle and bustle of shoppers, visiting a variety of shops and the bank next door. At night it is remarkably quiet for a property located in the heart of town. -Please note that due to the central location, there is no designated parking for the property. There is ample space on the street to pull up for up to 30mins for the purpose of unloading/loading. Guests can then utilise the free on street parking on the surrounding roads. Access to public transport is excellent in this area with frequent bus and rail services. -Guests with limited mobility must note that there are a number of steps throughout the property -We kindly ask that guests leave the property in the condition they would hope to find it. This is a much-loved home, not just a holiday rental. Any extra cleaning or excessive rubbish removal may incur additional charges, so we really appreciate your care and consideration
