About the host
Description
41 m², up to 4 guests, ground floor. The white flat was designed by an interior architect — and you'll feel it in every detail. Colours, lighting, materials — everything considered. The bedroom faces the quiet inner courtyard of Villa Markhof, the fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. In the morning, grab fresh rolls from the bakery in the same building and park right outside your window. With a code lock, you check in whenever you like — even in the middle of the night. The space Imagine arriving, putting down your suitcase — and immediately noticing that someone has thought about every detail here. The white flat was designed by an interior architect, and it shows everywhere: in the colours, the lighting, the materials, the way everything comes together. No accident, but a concept. The bedroom faces the quiet inner courtyard of Villa Markhof — no street noise, quiet and green. You'll sleep in a box-spring bed (180×200) with a pocket-spring mattress and fresh, high-quality bed linen. In the same room there's a pull-out sofa bed (160×200) that comfortably accommodates two more guests — ideal for families with children. The smart TV is also in the bedroom. Against the wall there's a slim desk — if you need to work on the road or simply want a quiet spot to plan your days, you have one here. The spacious hallway leads directly to the bathroom with shower, hairdryer and washer-dryer combo — so there's no need to bring extra laundry from home. Fresh towels, an iron and an ironing board are of course included. The kitchen has everything you need for a longer stay: an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, and both a capsule and a filter coffee machine. Fast WiFi works throughout the entire apartment. Despite the two steps at the front door, the white flat's ground-floor location makes it ideal for guests with heavy luggage or limited mobility. We're happy to provide a cot and a highchair on request. On the same floor you'll find the yellow flat — if you're travelling with a second family or a larger group, you can book both apartments side by side. That way you're together, but everyone has their own privacy. The Sorger bakery and café is in the same building, just one minute away — fresh rolls and good coffee right on your doorstep. The large shared garden of the villa is yours to enjoy anytime — for relaxing, reading, or simply soaking up the quiet. Zinzendorfgasse with its restaurants, cafés, student bars and small shops is a three-minute walk away. Public transport is two minutes on foot — bus lines 31 and 63 stop at Uni-Mensa and Uni-ReSoWi. From there you'll reach the main train station or the city centre in just a few minutes. On foot, you can get to the city park and the Botanical Garden in ten minutes and to Graz's historic centre in a quarter of an hour. Graz airport is about 25 minutes away by car. Graz is a UNESCO World Heritage city, a City of Design and a Culinary Capital — and you're staying right in the heart of the villa district, in one of the most beautiful parts of the city. Guest access We don't use keys — which means you can't lose one either. The front door has a fixed code lock; your apartment has a Nuki code lock with a numeric keypad. Before your arrival you'll receive two separate codes by email — one for the front door and one for your apartment. This way you can check in at any time of day or night without waiting for anyone. Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Your own secured parking space is in the courtyard — marked with your apartment's colour name. You'll receive detailed driving and entrance instructions with the check-in email. If you're arriving by public transport: From the main train station take bus line 63 directly to Uni-Mensa. From Jakominiplatz take line 31 to Uni-ReSoWi — both stops are just a 2-minute walk from us. If you're arriving by bicycle, there's a bike parking area in the courtyard. Other things to note The kitchen faces the street — with the window open, Schubertstraße is audible. The bedroom faces the other way onto the quiet inner courtyard. The apartment is on the ground floor. The windows are fitted with security bars, an added layer of protection that gives a good sense of security. There are two steps at the house entrance. There's a guest registration form on the kitchen table in the apartment — please fill it in and leave it there when you check out. This is a legal requirement in Austria for all overnight guests.
