The main draw is the sprawling Sunday River Ski resort with 8 peaks and 4 base areas all connected with some of the most efficient chair lifts in the country. The skiing is some of the best in the east as Sunday River Resort is know for its exceptional snowmaking and awesome annual natural snow totals. Bethel Village is the main hub of the area where you will find all amenities such as restaurants, brewery's, bowling alley, groceries, gas stations, and yes, a Dunkin Donuts. Bethel is also home to the Bethel Inn Country Club, the 2nd of two great 18 hole golf courses in the area, the first being award winning Sunday River Gold Club. In the summer & fall, folks enjoy a number of out door activities.
