Inside, warmth gathers around the wood-burning stoves while conversation drifts easily between the living room and loft. Evenings settle in with board games in the three-season room, music playing softly on the record player, and the quiet of the forest just outside the windows. Sleeping arrangements This entire cabin accommodates up to 10 guests across four bedrooms with 7 beds and 3 full baths. The layout spans multiple levels, offering both connection and privacy. A main-level primary bedroom provides easy access, along with an additional queen bedroom. A lower-level bedroom creates a tucked-away retreat, while the open loft doubles as a second living space with its own Smart TV and flexible sleeping area. Three full bathrooms help mornings move comfortably, even with a full group. Living spaces The main living room invites you to unwind with a 50 inch HDTV, books, and a Bluetooth sound system, while the loft offers an additional hangout space. Central heating and two wood-burning stoves keep the cabin comfortable during colder months, and central air conditioning ensures comfort year-round. Room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, and thoughtful touches throughout make it easy to settle in. A washer and dryer, clothing storage, and self check-in with keypad entry add convenience for longer stays. Kitchen and dining The fully equipped kitchen gives you space to cook and gather at your own pace. With generous prep areas and a dining table ready for shared meals, it is well suited for relaxed dinners after a day outdoors. A coffee maker and hot water kettle make slow mornings simple, whether you are planning a winter walk or easing into the day. Outdoor setting Three decks extend the living space into the surrounding trees, and a private backyard - not fully fenced - offers room to step outside and breathe in the crisp air. The fire pit and BBQ grill create inviting spaces to gather, even in cooler weather. The private hot tub is available seasonally from Nov to Apr and open 24 hours, offering a soothing soak beneath the forest canopy. Shared beach access and lake access via a nearby path connect you to the Lake Michigan shoreline, with beach essentials ready for use. Additional details The cabin includes Wifi, free parking on premises, and a private entrance. Exterior security cameras on property - Nest Hello doorbells at the front and back entrances - monitor deliveries and occupancy levels. A NoiseAware system helps maintain quiet hours without recording audio. Set on a quiet road near Kohler-Andrae State Park, this wooded retreat offers space to reconnect, unwind, and experience the still beauty of the season along Lake Michigan’s shore. Note: Softub Resort 300 6-person Hot Tub will be available for Winter guest use from October 31st through May 17th! The Softub hot tub is provided as an amenity, but its operation and heating cannot be guaranteed. No cancellations or discounts will be offered if the hot tub or any other amenity is not fully functional. Exterior Nest Hello Doorbell cameras that record video and sound are installed at both the front and back doors. These are used for communication with delivery drivers and to monitor guest capacity and compliance with the four-car maximum. A NoiseAware monitoring system is installed to detect loud noise during quiet hours. It does not record audio and is used solely to prevent loud parties or excessive noise that could disturb neighbors and to comply with local ordinances.
