This beautiful and comfortable family-friendly home features 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 2 inviting living spaces, and can accommodate 10 overnight guests. It's the perfect spot for family trips, holidays, vacations, reunions, writers retreats, wedding guest accommodations , group getaways, and gatherings, and is ideally located within minutes of Quechee and Woodstock. The space Mountain View is truly your home away from home. A well appointed kitchen will make any chef happy. The dining room and breakfast bar has space for you and your guests, and opens into the living room that boasts breathtaking views from the floor to ceiling windows. Cozy up in front of the fireplace tucked into the fieldstone hearth, or relax and watch a movie on the smart tv. The huge wrap-around deck with BBQ grill offers even more space to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Roast marshmallows for s’mores at the firepit in the evenings while you stargaze. One of two spacious master bedrooms with king bed and a full ensuite bathroom is on the main level. A convenient powder room is adjacent to the main living space. A second living room in the bright and airy walkout lower level has a smart tv, games, and comfortable seating for all ages to enjoy. The second master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, two more bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with full over full bunks with a twin trundle), and another full bathroom are also on the lower level. There are mini split a/c units in the dining room and the main floor master bedroom. There is an Amazon Alexa device for music, weather, etc. Washer and dryer with detergent are available for your use as well. Other things to note Our beautiful vacation home is located in Quechee (pronounced KWEE-chee), which is nestled between the picturesque village of Woodstock, consistently voted one of the most beautiful towns in the U.S., and Hanover, New Hampshire, home to Dartmouth College and the renowned Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Quechee's proximity to a vast array of activities, restaurants, and attractions make it a highly sought after location as a home-base for enjoying all that Vermont has to offer. You'll be just moments from the Quechee Club. The Club boasts not one, but two world-class 18 hole golf courses (Highland and Lakeland), racquetball sports, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding, a state of the art health and wellness center with fitness classes, indoor and outdoor pools, a private beach at Lake Pinneo with swimming or boating, as well as activities for outdoors enthusiasts like hiking and birdwatching. The Club House offers both fine and casual dining. Our guests are able to purchase optional amenities packages directly through the Quechee Club. We also provide our guests with a curated list of our favorite and noteworthy Vermont places and experiences that we know you will enjoy. Whether you’re looking for outdoor sports or activities, fine dining, family friendly activities, shopping, sightseeing, or leisure pursuits, you can be sure there will be year-round enjoyment and adventure for everyone! Please Note: -We recommend that all of our guests purchase travel insurance. -No Parties or Events -Guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement and there will be a Security Hold for the amount of $1000 (your card is not charged) -This is a NON SMOKING home -The fireplace is electric and can be used for supplimental heat or just for the fire-like affect, but the wood stove in the lower level is non functional and cannot be used. -Please note that there are mini-split a/c units in the dining room and main floor bedroom, but there is No central air. -For the safety of our guests and property, we have outdoor security cameras at all enterances. At no time will there be cameras inside, or aimed inside the house. We respect your privacy!
