Home away from Home with stunning ocean views

The house has stunning panoramic views of the Dún Aonghasa Fort, Connemara and the island’s rugged landscape can be seen from every window. Stunning sunset views that you will never forget! 50 min walk approx to Kilronan / 15 min cycle. The space We are a local family from Inis Mor and we live on the island. The house was decorated by us to make the most of fabulous views. The living space is dominated by the large windows, with comfy couches, making it a perfect spot to sit and read a book or chill and watch a movie. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay. We pride ourselves on having the house spotlessly clean. We also live in the house every opportunity we can. It a family home to us and during your stay we hope you feel like it’s your home too. There are three bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. Two of the bedrooms have a king bed and the third has a bunkbed (single bed on top and double bed on bottom). Top bunk is better suitable to smaller, more agile people. Free internet is included in the price, however please note as we live on an island the signal isn't always perfect. The House is in the middle of the Island, away from the hustle and bustle of the main village. It’s a perfect base for exploring Dún Aonghasa Fort, worm hole, seal colony, the local swans and seven churches. In summer 2021, our house was chosen by the producers of The Banshees of Inisherin to accommodate Irish actor and film star Colin Farrell for a full month while filming took place on the island. Kitchen equipped with enough utensils and kitchenware to cook meals. The house sleeps maximum 7. The living room has a stove, which burns briquettes but there is also oil heating. House is approx a 50 minute walk to Kilronan village or a 15 minute cycle. Mini bus can be hired for lifts. Aran Bike Hire can deliver bikes to the house. The house is also in the perfect location as base for exploring Dún Aonghasa Fort, Worm Hole and Seven Churches.
