There are exterior limitations of the property that are beyond our control. • We understand this rental may not be the perfect fit for every traveler, and that’s why we aim to be transparent; so, you can feel confident and comfortable with your choice to stay here. While you're not beachfront & there isn't a fantastic view, the driving proximity to everything Destin can't be beat to live like a local! Our on-site dog park sits just beside Building 21, near the main Highway 98 entrance. >> Where You'll Sleep << • King bed in the bedroom • Queen sleeper sofa in the living room • Two Twin fold out memory foam mattresses Read along for a quick layout of our space! When you arrive, you'll walk right in to the living room that boasts a comfortable commercial grade Queen sleeper sofa & a fun printed accent chair for lounging. While we don't have a traditional dining table, guests can enjoy breakfast bar seating for meals or a workspace. With a full wall of sliding glass doors encompassing the living room, the natural light is incredible! We've added a Smart TV with standard cable offered for our guests convenience. Guests can feel free to login to their own streaming services (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) while traveling as well. The kitchen area has an open concept to the living room for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stovetop, and a large toaster oven. **PLEASE note that we do NOT have a standard oven, it is a cooktop ONLY.** We also have dishes, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non-perishable items. We have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, cutlery, cups, and plastic dishes for our tiny travelers as well! Directly off the living area you can find the bedroom with a cozy King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. A smart TV here is perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day. The closet stores two Twin memory foam mattresses that can be brought out (with linens) if needed for sleeping accommodations. The bathroom offers a standup shower, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. We’ve designed it with the comforts of home in mind - spacious, welcoming, and nothing like a cramped hotel bathroom. Our laundry room is located right off the patio, offering guests the convenience of a stackable washer and dryer for use during your stay. No need to visit the laundromat! You’ll also find charcoal grills throughout the community for guests to enjoy a relaxed cookout. PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so we must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding! • You’ll receive keyless entry instructions at 4PM CST on the day of your arrival for a smooth, hassle-free check-in. • Please note this unit is in a shared building, not a standalone home. • Community amenities, such as the pool and other shared spaces, are available for all guests and residents to enjoy. • Please note: this condo does not include an oven, but it does include a stovetop. Messages sent late at night may be addressed the following morning, but we'll respond as soon as possible! • This is a second-floor unit accessed by stairs only, with no elevator. You may occasionally hear noise from neighboring units or common areas, which is outside of our control. Please note this unit is part of a shared building, not a stand-alone home. • Linens and beach towels are provided. A courtesy supply of essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bag, dish and laundry detergent) is included. For longer stays or larger groups, please bring any additional supplies you may need. • Please note that beach equipment and beach supplies are not provided. • Trailer, RV, box truck, or watercraft parking is not permitted in the complex. HOA towing fees apply for any violations. • As this is a residential complex, a 10PM noise ordinance is in effect. Excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances are not permitted at any time. • All stays with house-trained pets must be disclosed at booking, as a $50 pet fee applies. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. Pets must be crated when unattended, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them indoors and outdoors. Pets are not allowed on furniture. • ADA-recognized service animals are exempt from the pet fee, but Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not. Please note that providing false information about a service animal is against state law, so we appreciate your honesty. • While this condo isn’t directly on the beach and the beach is not visible from the unit, public beach access is just a short ¾-mile drive away. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location. • This is a mixed community with both full-time residents and short-term guests. Building exteriors are being updated gradually, which is outside our control, but we’ve created a cozy, comfortable space inside for your stay. • All guests must read our listing description in full before booking. This home may not be a good fit for everyone, so we want to ensure you have a great stay. • Check in time is 4PM CST. We do not allow luggage drop-offs. Please plan to arrive at 4pm CST or after. • Occasionally, an early check-in may be possible, but we are unable to accommodate early check-ins in advance. The only way to guarantee an early check-in is to book the night prior to your stay, this gives you the flexibility to arrive at any time. • This community is in a period of transition, and the buildings reflect their original 1970s construction. The exterior may not reflect the look of a typical gated community, but this is something managed by the HOA and not within our control. Landscaping and exterior upkeep are managed by the HOA. That said, we take excellent care of the inside of our home to ensure you have a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained space. If anything comes up during your stay, please reach out right away so we can help. • Our home is professionally cleaned before your arrival. If you notice anything that needs attention upon check-in, please let us know right away so we can promptly address it. As a small business, we take pride in providing the best experience possible, but our cleaning is done by humans, and occasionally, small oversights happen. Our excellent cleaning team is always happy to correct anything that may have been missed. • Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10PM sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time. • Please note this is a condo in a building with shared walls with other units, so there is a potential for noise. • Hosting student groups or guests under 25 is considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to our discretion. If you have questions about this, please contact us. • If your stay includes a house-trained pet, it must be disclosed at the time of booking, as a $50 pet fee applies. We allow a maximum of two dogs. Pets must be crated when unattended and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them, both inside and outside. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. We do not stock spices, oils, sunscreen, food storage (Ziplocs, foil, etc.) so please plan accordingly if you'll need these items. • Checkout is 10AM CST, and any stay past this time will result in an additional day charge. • All issues must be disclosed prior to checkout, or guests are held liable for any damages. We must be notified and given the ability to resolve all issues during stay, or guests accept responsibility for not disclosing in a timely manner. We do not issue refunds for lack of amenities (TV, Wi-Fi/Internet, A/C, etc.) as these types of outages are beyond our control, but we will do our best to resolve issues as quickly as possible. • Any violation of house rules or terms and conditions are subject to eviction without refund. • Gulf Terrace Condominiums are located in the heart of Destin, just minutes away from a variety of dining, shopping, and local hotspots. • You’ll be less than a mile from June White Decker public beach access, Big Kahuna’s Water Park, and The Track Family Fun Parks, making it easy to enjoy all the area has to offer! • Our complex offers the convenience of two entrances! The main entrance takes you directly onto Destin’s main highway, while the side entrance lets you exit onto a side street with a stoplight, perfect for avoiding traffic when the town gets busy. • During busy times it can be easier to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to avoid dealing with traffic and parking.
