This luxurious 7000 sq ft country estate on 35 private picturesque acres has been tastefully arranged into three separate rental units, each with it’s own private entrance and no shared indoor spaces. Come and enjoy the Peaceful Retreat, a remodeled suite featuring roomy living and dining areas, private attached bath, and a romantic bedroom with very comfortable mattress. Enjoy watching seasons change as wildlife pass by the oversized living room window. The Peaceful Retreat has a dry kitchenette with microwave, air fryer, mini fridge, and Keurig. While we do try to keep a few paper products on hand, we do not keep utensils and dishes stocked in this unit (similar to a hotel room), so please plan accordingly. Dining table with seating for 4. Relax outdoors with strolls through the forest trails or find inspiration sitting on a bench by the picturesque pond. The Estate at Williamston is a large, private 7000 SQ foot country estate that has been separated into three individual units: "The Bunkhouse", "The Luxury Escape", and "The Peaceful Retreat". They are each separate units under the same roof (could be considered similar to a townhouse) with their own exterior entrance and there is no shared inside space, but if adjacent units are both rented, the connecting doors can be unlocked from both sides simultaneously to connect the units. As there may be another guest in the adjacent unit, we do ask all our guests to observe quiet time between 10pm and 8am to respect the other guests. The Bunkhouse is the middle unit, so it can be combined with either or both of the other two. The peaceful retreat is a single floor and the other two are each two story, which, also similar to a townhouse, the floor above and below will all be the same unit (i.e. your ceiling won't be immediately below someone else's floor.) To rent more than one unit together, guests can simply make both or all three reservations in the usual manner. We had previously offered a single rate for the entire property, but it was higher than the combined price of the three units, so now we simply offer the ability to rent all three individually if they are available on your desired dates. Enjoy our quaint downtown Williamston with award winning live theater, outstanding restaurants, and regular small town events and celebrations. We’re just 10 miles from MSU campus for easy access to the Spartan games and other events. 17 minute drive to downtown Lansing makes this the perfect place to be both away from it all, but still with easy city access. Whether looking for shopping in Okemos or visiting the Ingham County Fair or Dart in Mason, you’ll find the nearby freeway access quite convenient. We welcome outdoor gatherings with friends and family with acres of lawn, multiple fire pits, hiking trails, and bass pond. As there are several other guests on the property, unless you have rented all three units, please respect quiet time after 10pm and before 8am. To note, the house is divided horizontally, so there will be no guests above or below your unit.
