As a result parking is tight and streets are narrow. There is parking below the house but it is street parking is on a narrow street with a long walkway with many stairs to the front door. We do not recommend parking below the house if you can avoid it. There is a driveway and parking area behind the house. The driveway is narrow with a sharp turn at the end. Take your time when navigating the driveway. At the bottom of the driveway is a garage which one car can park in. There is also a parking pad where 2 more cars can park. It is difficult to get cars turned around once We live about 30 minutes outside Charleston and can be reached via the messaging app thru airbnb. We try and respond immediately if possible but know if we happen to be out of cell range or driving our response may he delayed however we usually are able to respond within an hour. This is a charming and historic neighborhood. With this comes come parking issues as this area was built before parking was a consideration. Things are hilly and tight. The back parking pad on the house is down a shared driveway. The parking area is tight but we have not had any problem getting a vehicle turned around. You may have to take your time turning around and maybe even use a spotter if you don't have a backup camera. You can also park in the garage but you will still have to work on turning around if you don't want to back up the driveway. You can also park on the street below the house, however street parking can be harder to find and you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the front door from the street below. If you are going to park more than one car on the parking pad then we recommend that you get the first car turned around before driving the 2nd car onto the pad. This is a quiet family neighborhood. Please respect quiet hours directed by city ordinance of 10pm -7am.
