Nearby breweries, farms, and fine dining restaurants make Kerhonkson a true destination, but the privacy and relaxing nature of A Retreat has a peaceful draw. Located on 8 acres of land in the Hudson Woods development, A Retreat was recently featured in Architectural Digest. The space SLEEPING SPACE: Bedroom 1: King sized bed w/ private full bathroom Bedroom 2: King sized bed w/ private full bathroom KITCHEN: Toaster Oven DeLonghi Model # E024150. There is no actual oven/dishwasher or microwave. There is an electric stove top. Guest access The pool and hot tub are not available for the guest house, only reservations that include the main house have access to these amenities. Other things to note This listing is for the guest house only accommodating a total of 4 guests. There is privacy so that you will not see or need to interact with anyone renting the other house on the property. Please note that during winter months, access to this property can be challenging. We highly recommend that you have a 4WD vehicle with snow tires for safe travel. If you do not have the proper equipment, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking during this season. Garden/Wildflower Meadows: There are two native grass and wildflower meadows, one on the north side of the guest house and another on the south side of the main house. We are working to re-establish these areas by hand weeding and reseeding until the meadow is restored. Note - these areas will not be mowed. The outdoor herb/ vegetable garden is near the guest house and will have bi-weekly visits on Wednesdays to check the garden. If you are staying in the guest house we ask you to PLEASE be sure to shut the vegetable garden door to keep the animals out.
