This private island-style getaway home can easily sleep 6 guests. Enjoy open beaches and nature. Only 2 bedrooms but with plenty of space you definitely want to bring the whole family. Relax in the open-plan living space, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sapelo Island is a semi-private island off the Georgia coast. This wildlife haven is only accessible by ferry. Explore Gullah Geechee culture and ancient ruins for a unique experience. The space The house can host up to 6 easily with only 2 bedrooms. It also has 2 decent-sized bathrooms. The kitchen opens up to the living room in a large open space. A large farm-style dining table brings everyone together. A comfortable living room with TV and VHS player with some VHS tapes provided. A clear challenge to the younger generations but fun to watch. A glass door opens up from the kitchen/living room to a large roofed deck with more space for seating, a gas grill, and a sink for cleaning food. An air mattress is also available for 2 more guests if needed. Experience the culture of the Gullah Geechee. The legacy of African Cultures is strongly represented by the Sapelo community. Tour ancient Native American ruins that are older than the Egyptian Pyramids and learn about the fascinat·ing history of Sapelo Island. Guest access There are no roads going to Sapelo Island, therefore access to the island is restricted to pre-registered visitors only. We will do the pre-registration for you and arrange to have you meet at the dock on the island. You will be transported to the house. Please note that you will need transportation once you are at the house We will help arrange it for you before you arrive. There is an additional fee for this service per day depending on availability charged and managed by a local person on the island.
