Beautiful 2 bedroom rustic cottage situated in the Shingletown California woods yet just off the main HWY 44. Mt Lassen is about 15-20 minutes away. The large wooded property borders a creek and has a small lake with fish, frogs, turtles and otters. The space There are 2 bedrooms, one has a queen 4 post cherry wood bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and 1 bunk bed. The large living room has a wood fire stove (please be advised to keep children and pets away from the wood stove, outside fire pit and bbq as they present a risk of possible burns if touched while hot), TV (no cable) & a DVD player with about 20 random movies. Full size kitchen equipped with dishware, silverware, cups, pots, pans, blender, toaster, coffee maker, tea pot. A full size bathroom with a tub & separate shower stall. Please help us keep the cost of cleaning low by keeping the place clean as possible. Do not leave garbage around, please put the trash in a trash bag/can. We kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels near the entry door upon leaving. It helps us get through the cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests. The well water is drinkable and extremely clean without anything added to it, tested every month. There is a one time pet fee of $50 per stay. Max 3 pets allowed.
