The Hut - Waves of Fun!

A tropical paradise in the Heart of Lubbock: The Hut is a very spacious back house. The Bedroom has comfy King size bed and the Living Room has a queen pullout sofa. Perfect for a romantic getaways, work or Tech Events. You may be traveling to Lbk, but with a Tiki theme throughout the inside and outside, you will feel like you're at a beach resort! The backyard is an oasis with a Firepit, Putting Green, and the Tiki Tavern, for guests to relax in the open air & have a drink or two! The space Welcome to The Hut, the back house to The Beachcomber, and part of the The Freaky Tiki. The Hut is a completely rebuilt back house, in the historic Heart of Lubbock neighborhood. I redesigned this home from bare bones to be amazingly comfortable and enjoyable with every amenity you expect. The brand-new HVAC system will keep you cool or warm with the easy-to-use Nest thermostat, new plumbing, and Ring alarm system and outdoor camera will give you piece of mind during your stay. The TVs are connected through the high-speed Wi-Fi and are Smart TV's, so that you can watch your favorite Netflix show, Hulu, ESPN+, Disney+, etc... local channels are also available. The kitchen features Talavera tile and butcher-block countertops, as well as brand new appliances. You will also find all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender, mixer, crockpot, cookie sheets, plates, bowls, cups, and flatware you need to cook a full meal. Plus, a coffee bar setup! The bedroom features a high end king mattress that regularly receive compliments from my guests, plus cozy bedding, and room darkening curtains. There is a nightstand on each side of the bed with USB lamps to charge your devices easily. The living room has a sofa with a queen size pullout bed for extra guests. The bathroom has totally been renovated with a beautiful tile shower, and is filled with soft, plush towels, and all the bathroom amenities you will need, including a hair dryer. The backyard is a tropical paradise with a courtyard, firepit, and the Tiki Tavern for guests to relax in the open air and have a drink or two! There is a gas grill, multiple seating areas, and lounge chairs to soak up the sun. Cornhole boards, Darts, Horseshoes and Putting Green to enjoy…or have some friendly competition! There is a front house that is also an Airbnb and may have guests during your stay. The back yard is shared by the two houses. The Hut’s guests are asked to be respectful of the Beachcomber and it's guests and vice versa. Other things to note For check out: you are required to take out your own trash and wash and put away any dishes you used during your stay. You can bring throw-away paper good/utensils if you don't want to mess with washing dishes. Please read my House Rules prior to booking!
