Optional: A private separate 350 sq ft studio/office. 5-star by work-from-homers. Events: reunions and weddings. The space This is a true custom built Chalet in a true Vermont experience. Each of three floors has a bedroom and full bath. Total beds: one King two queen, three twins, two queen sofa beds. Great for couples, kids, and well-behaved pets (see below, please). We also offer at no cost 2 Graco Pack ‘n’ Play, 2 high chairs, and toddler utensils. Available at no cost upon request. With 3600 square feet of living space, the chalet offers several gathering areas, including two separate living rooms, a game table, a dining area, a 15x25' fire pit patio (Winter weather permitting), and a welcoming kitchen furnished down to the cookbooks. The kitchen also features a really cool induction cooktop and cookware. There are games galore and hundreds of interesting books in the library. Artisan stone mason Simon Shultz created magnificent two-story stone columns that support the outside deck overlooking the photoready Hidden Valley. At the heart of Rye Chalet, a spectacular three-story stone core. A charming custom-built spiral staircase connects all three floors. The creative studio/office behind the Chalet is an available optional add-on to the home rental that is perfect for confidential work. Separate from the chalet, the studio is appreciated by work-from-homers, artists, meditation, yoga or prayer. Zoom-ready high-speed internet, an Ethernet connection, a 65” ROKU-ready WiFi TV, an electric ambiance fireplace Fee: $45/night, two night minimum, plus $35 cleaning fee. Available Winter weather-permitting. Central HEAT/AC (HVAC) on the two upper floors is rare for A Frame Chalets and the home books quickly! Well-Behaved Pets: One pet: $40/night, $140/week. Two pets: $60/night, $210/week. Three pets: $80/night, $280/week. Limit three pets and we have pet house rules for you. Unauthorized pets anytime during your stay will incur a $350 deep cleaning charge. Guest access Your custom keypad number works on the main (first floor) and kitchen entry off the balcony deck. Additional and available: Event rental for reunions and weddings. The Creative Studio is also available, rates vary. Other things to note The person renting the chalet must be 28 years old or older (see our published House Rules below). Number of Guests including children: Provide an accurate head count when you reserve and let us know writing before arrival if the number increases/decreases. There are extra fees for more than six guests. Guests NOT included in the initial booking will initiate a penalty charge of $100 per person per night that will be invoiced and disclosed to Airbnb. Let us know an accurate amount of overnight guests-we need to know for emergency services, set up, and the base rate included up to 6 overnight adults and children. Thank you. Pets: Include pets in your reservation. Airbnb offers an initial charge of $40. The rate is based on a maximum of three well-behaved pets: One pet: $40 per night; two pets: $60 per night; three pets: $80 per night. Pets not included in your reservation will initiate a penalty charge of $100 per night per pet that will be invoiced and disclosed to Airbnb. Let uw know an accurate amount of pets. Thank you. Smoking on the property: At the request of our guests the entire Rye Chalet property is smoke-free. Smoking of ANY kind (cigarettes, marijuana, cigars) is NOT permitted anywhere on Rye Chalet property -- inside or outside. Odor or evidence of smoking in the house will result in cleaning fees that the guest is responsible for. Thank you. We charge $85 hourly to search for and pick up cigarette butts and dog waste if we find any on our property.
