Easy access to the river for tubing kayaking. The river is 5 minute wall down the hill. Parking near by if you need to carry your kayak. Other things to note You are 20 minutes from Jefferson and West Jefferson where there are ample shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. You are a 5 minute walk to the river. In Ashe Country and the surrounding areas there are a multitude of hiking trails. You are 45 minutes from Boone, from Grayson Highlands home of the wild ponies and biking on the Virginia Creeper Trail. Centrally located to lots of activities, but in a quiet and peaceful setting. You are remote but not isolated, close to the owner’s home and close to roads to zip into town.
