Other things to note You are 20 minutes from Jefferson and West Jefferson where there are ample shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. You are a 5 minute walk to the river. In Ashe Country and the surrounding areas there are a multitude of hiking trails. You are 45 minutes from Boone, from Grayson Highlands and the Virginia Creeper Trail. Centrally located to lots of activities, but in a quiet and peaceful setting.
