Paradise on Private 15 Acre Wildlife Sanctuary

The Craftsman cottage is on a private 15 acre wetland providing excellent views of a wide range of birds and other wildlife. French doors open to a deck and huge yard that meets the wetland and walking path around the ponds. Less than 2 miles from the house, enjoy kayaking and walking the Luckiamute Landing Trails at the confluence of the Luckiamute, Santiam and Willamette rivers. Relaxed open design, vaulted ceilings, queen beds, wifi, smart tv with Netflix, full kitchen and coffee bar. The space Relax and connect with nature while enjoying the entire house to yourself. The kitchen includes all the dishes and amenities to you need to cook complete meals. There is a BBQ on the deck along with table and chairs. The bathroom includes a clawfoot tub and bubble bath for relaxing in addition to a shower. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed with extra bedding and pillows. From the house, you may be able to see, Great Blue Heron, Ducks, Geese, Bald Eagle, Osprey diving for fish, Beavers, Otters, Deer, Owls and many other creatures. At night, its common to hear coyotes howling and the geese cackling. If you would like to take a walk, feel free to explore the 15 acres around the ponds. It's a wetland so bring seasonal appropriate footwear. In the Spring and Winter months the grass can be wet and there may be mud. The Geese love the grass around the house allowing for close up views of their goslings in the Spring. Guest access While we do live further back on the property, you will have complete privacy and the house to yourself.
