Our luxury glamping cabins are fully furnished and have everything you need to stay comfortable, including beds with foam mattresses, bedding and towels, a kitchenette, comfortable furniture, a hammock, a brazier, and more. The space With this Luxury Glamping Cabin rental, you and your guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of Son’s Blue River Camp, which sits on the San Marcos River with its blue spring water and majestic tree studded banks. Sit ‘round the campfire at night and gaze at the big, bright, Texas starry sky! We are surrounded by large ranches which makes for a great outdoor get away from it all experience! Son's Blue River Camp is a fun, relaxing property located on the gorgeous San Marcos R. with 44 cabins, 36 Cabanas as well as tube & kayak rentals. Guests from all over the state come to enjoy the spring-fed, blue water of the San Marcos R that has a consistent good flow, great fishing & is perfect for tubing & kayaking! The property is clean & well maintained & run by a friendly, professionally staff. Our glamping cabins have everything you need to be comfortable while enjoying the outdoors. There are 40 Luxury Glamping Cabins in total, #’s: A-Z come with: 2 queen sized bed with foam mattress with linens blankets, pillows and towels provided. They also feature a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate with pots and pans and blender. We do not provide silverware and dinnerware, so be sure to bring these. For inside entertainment and relaxation, Guests will find a smart TV and DVD player. Outdoor amenities include: comfortable wicker seating, hammocks, fire-pits, BBQ pits, picnic table, outdoor lighting, water and electricity. We also have 16 other Luxury Glamping Cabins #’s 1 – 16 which are similar in every way but have 1 queen bed and a twin day bed. Be sure you are booking the type you want! The unique design of our Luxury Glamping Cabins allows you to open up the entire front wall to enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience, perfect for eating, relaxing and reconnecting with your friends and family. There are three 5-unit bathroom trailers by our glamping cabins (15 full bathrooms in total with hot showers) for your use. Guest access Our Glamping cabins are located on a hill overlooking the river bottom and it is a quick walk to the river. Guests can explore and use the many amenities of Son's Blue River Camp, including chairs and umbrellas along the riverbank, the many hammocks that stretch along the property, the sand volleyball court, campfires, and much more. There are 15 private full bathrooms with locks located directly behind the Glamping cabins. You can park and temporarily unload in your cabin and then park in the parking lot behind the Glamping Cabins. Other things to note Son's Blue River campground also rents Riverside Cabins that can be added to guests' stays, but it's best to book in advance as we're typically full every day in the summer and most weekends. Cabins are available from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 P.M. They have a picnic table, barbecue grill, comfortable outdoor wicker furniture, water and electricity. Cabin rental is extra, although cabin guests can use picnic tables, armchairs, and umbrellas by the water for free. We also rent tubes and kayaks. We have another location 2 miles upstream, which is our tube/kayak facility. Shuttle services come and go during peak season every day and most off-season weekends (however, we do not offer shuttle services in winter and must be scheduled ahead of time). Our section of the river is ideal for families and has no dangerous dams or rapids. It's a great place for beginners to kayak and almost anyone can scuba dive. We offer free use of life jackets for weak swimmers or non-swimmers.
