House on the Camas Prairie (in town)

Our home is located in quiet Grangeville, Idaho on 1 acre. Although technically in town, this unique home backs up directly to the beautiful Camas Prairie. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets and views of the prairie and the Salmon River Range of the Rocky Mountains. Best of all, it is only a few minutes walk to downtown Grangeville. Step back in time 60 years to this quaint, friendly and peaceful town in North Central Idaho. Close to fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, exploring and whitewater rafting. The space This is a 1450 square foot two story house in Grangeville. The house is situated right on the edge of town and backs up to the Camas Prairie. The Salmon River Range of the Rocky Mountains are very close. The home has a new (2024) central heating and air conditioning system. This cozy home has two small bedrooms downstairs and one larger bedroom upstairs. The stairs to the master bedroom are fairly steep so consider this when booking this home for your stay. This home also features a large kitchen and laundry/utility room. The yard has just been professionally landscaped. There's also a Keurig and drip coffee maker combo in the kitchen. There is a grass front and back yard. Neither are fenced. Wireless and fast streaming TV (Roku, etc.) are also available. Bring your Amazon and Roku account settings. Professionally cleaned! Guest access The keypad for entry to the home is on the front door. We send you access instructions, door code, etc. prior to your check-in. The pasture, stalls and barn are off-limits to guests because there may be livestock grazing on the property. The horse(s) are friendly but please do not feed them. There are three steps to the front and rear door entry. The steps to the upstairs master bedroom are pretty steep so consider this when booking this home for your stay. There other two bedrooms are on the ground floor. NOTE: this home is located in the Pacific Time Zone (not Mountain Time) If you are coming from the East we are a hour behind Mountain Time. If you would like an EARLY CHECK-IN PLEASE ASK. We always allow this at no extra cost to you if it is all possible (usually based upon professional housekeeper's completion time).
