Sunset Cove, "Discover Tranquility" pool home

Clean, inviting and close to everything...shopping, restaurants, golf courses and Fort Myers! Sunset Cove is a beautiful home located in popular Cape Coral, Florida. This exquisite 4 bedroom, 3 full bath retreat boasts a tranquil, spacious Lanai and pool area with plenty of comfortable furniture and a gas BBQ. With highly sought after western rear exposure, the Lanai is the perfect space to relax and unwind while watching the sun set. And yes, WIFI is readily available and the pool is heated. The space Sunset Cove has a nice, open, spacious layout with plenty of room for your group. Bedrooms/Sleeping spaces: Sunset Cove sleeps 12 (8 adults and 4 children/teens/smaller adults). Sleeping spaces include one king bed (2) in the Master Bedroom, a queen bed (2) in Bedroom 2, a queen bed (2) in Bedroom 3, and two twin bunk beds (4) in Bedroom 4. The top bunks have a 200 lb max and the lower bunks 250 lb max. There are also 2 trundle mattresses in Bedroom 4 that can be moved anywhere in the home. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, and is equipped with a tall dresser for clothing storage, a clothing rack with hangers for hanging clothes, and a luggage rack. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and is equipped with shelves and hangers in the closet for clothing, and a luggage rack. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and is equipped with a dresser and shelf space for clothing storage in the closet. In the closet there are also hangers for hanging clothes, and a luggage rack. Bedroom 4 has two twin bunk beds. The upper bunks have a 200 lb max and the lower bunks have a 250 lb max. There is a dresser and shelf space in the closet for clothing storage, and hangers for hanging clothes. There is also a luggage rack that can be used. There are also 2 trundle mattresses in Bedroom 4 that can be moved anywhere in the home. Bathrooms: The master bathroom is attached to the master bedroom. It has a large vanity, 2 sinks, a spacious shower, and a jetted tub. The second bath is located next to Bedroom 2 and the door leading out to the pool. It has a large vanity and sink, and an attached shower/tub combo. The third bath is conveniently located in the hallway between Bedrooms 3 & 4. It has a vanity with a single sink and a shower. Work stations: There are two workstation options in the home. One in the kitchen (which we use as a coffee bar). The other in the living room which we use as a welcome table. Chairs can be pulled up to either location though to accomodate working remotely. Smart TVs: Four Smart TVs are available throughout the home for your entertainment needs. There is a 65" TV in the living room, and three 46" TVs located in the Master Bedroom, Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3. We have basic cable channels available, and of course you can always use your streaming services with our Smart TVs. Indoor Dining: The dining room table seats 8, and there is also seating for 4 more at the kitchen island. Lanai dining/seating & pool: The lanai has ample seating options for guests including: a table with 6 chairs, 3 loungers, a sectional with cushions and seating for 7-8, a coffee table, and two side chairs. And yes, the spacious pool is heated! The property also has a gas grill on a pad next to the lanai for all your grilling needs, and has a full-privacy fence enclosing the backyard in addition to the full screen enclosed pool area at the back of the home. The large pool is heated to 86-88 degrees at no extra cost to you. Laundry Room: We have a full service laundry room for your use that includes a full sized washer and dryer. One complimentary laundry pod is provided per day. Game Room: The garage has been converted to a game room with ping pong, foosball, and a table and chairs. Parking: No parking is allowed on the street or on the lawn as there is an irrigation system. There is a 4 vehicle maximum per group. Accessibility: This home is located on a great corner lot easily accessible from one of Cape Corals main through-fares, Santa Barbara Blvd. The home is a single level structure with no stairs. Only minimal step-up or step-downs at the doorway leading into the home from the garage/game room. Pet Free Home: Please note this is a pet free home. The owners have some animal allergies in their family, so we are unable to accomodate even the smallest of pets. Thank you for understanding! Other things to note: We've thought of everything you'll need for your perfect vacation including but not limited to: a kitchen stocked with a crockpot, Ninja blender, Keurig, baking pans, pots and pans, waffle iron, griddle, and utensils galore, a large gas BBQ off of the lanai, everything you need for a day at the beach including 10 beach chairs (6 adult, 4 child), 1 umbrella, infant, toddler and youth life jackets, beach wagon, cooler with wheels, beach blanket, beach/pool towels, beach bag, frisbee, football, pool toys, and even a custom set of cornhole boards to enjoy in the private back yard. If you have a little one, there is a pack 'n play and baby seat available for your use. We also have a baby gate for the pool. Please let us know if you need any of these items for your stay. For your convenience we also provide complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hand soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee/tea, creamer, tinfoil, plastic wrap, napkins, salt, pepper and many other spices/seasonings. Airports: Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) Fort Myers 22.6 miles Punta Gorda is 28.6 miles from Sunset Cove and often has cheaper fares, but limited flights. There are no neighborhood sidewalk systems. Side streets off the main road systems are generally quiet and walkable with caution. Parking at Sunset Cove is restricted to the driveway only. There is no parking allowed on the grass or in the street. Please make appropriate arrangements with your group prior to your arrival. The driveway will accommodate four (4) standard size vehicles. Other things to note Depending on the days of the week you are staying at Sunset Cove, you may experience general maintenance workers around the exterior of the property that may include, lawn, pool, or utility service workers. The lawn is mowed once a week and the pool is cleaned once a week as well. Please note that they have our permission to be there and perform their jobs. They will not need to be inside the home, just outside and on the lanai. Our cleaner will ensure the waste and recycle containers are taken to the roadside on the correct days. Please bring them up by the house after they’re collected. Anytime there is an issue that a repair professional needs to enter the property during your stay, Steve & Nichole will provide you with details. This type of situation is rare. As you know, Florida is home to some of the most lovely beaches, amazing protected land, and a tropical climate. This makes it an ideal place to vacation and explore all year round! However, with all of these amenities, we also have a few pesky critters that call Florida "home". During your visit, it is not uncommon for you to encounter geckos, frogs, palmetto bugs, sugar ants and the famous "no-see-ums". The "noseeums" are particularly annoying because, just like their name states, you cannot see them! They are tiny mosquitos that can bite and leave marks on your skin. Some people are completely unaffected, while others may find marks for days after leaving the area. We do the best we can to keep our guest protected from all critters. We have Home Team Pest Defense come out quarterly to spray and inspect our home inside and out. As a guest, the best way to avoid these critters is by keeping all doors and windows closed, keep fans or AC on to keep the air circulating, keep all food in the refrigerator or sealed well, remove trash and garbage regularly, and use bug spray at night or while outdoors.
