Welcome to The Grove. We are just steps from the beach (2-minute walk) and a 5-10 minute walk to a number of restaurants, bars, shops, ice cream parlor, and coffee shop. Our namesake Live Oak trees, porches, and sun room make The Grove a relaxing sanctuary after a day on the beach. Wash the salt and sand away in one of two outdoor showers. Hang by the firepit and make lifelong memories - firewood provided! Fall is the best time at the beach. Book The Grove today. The space Welcome to your private island paradise. This home sits on a large lot with historic Live Oaks in the front and back yards. We are located on a direct beach access street - that means you will never have to dodge traffic to go to the beach! Not many beach properties come with historic Live Oaks that offer a natural feeling and sense of calm. The house includes spacious and airy rooms, with plenty of natural light and comfortable furnishings. Guests in your group will have plenty of room to spread out and settle in. The main highlights of the space include a relaxing conditioned sun room on the back of the house and backyard fire pit. Close to everything you need: - Beach: 500 feet - 2 minute walk - that means no parking fees! - Koko Cabana and Rubys Coffee House: 6 minute walk - Pier: 6 minute walk (free to walk) - Lazy Turtle Bar and Grill: 5 minute walk - Solar Brewing and Shagger Jacks: 13 minute walk - Publix and Food Lion: 5 minute drive Living Areas: - There is a 55" ROKU TV in the living area and a relaxing sectional couch. - The dining table seats six. - There is an additional dining or work-space in the sun room. This room can be closed off to allow for remote work. - A gas grill is available in the back yard. Bedrooms: - Primary bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has a queen bed, and a third room has bunks, all of which are memory foam mattresses. - The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. While functional, the shower and vanity in the primary bedroom bathroom are on the smaller side. - The primary bedroom is also outfitted with a 32” ROKU TV and all bedrooms have closets and luggage racks for use. Firepit Area and Backyard: After a day exploring the island, sit back and relax in the Adirondack chairs and make memories while kiddos roast marshmallows in the fire pit area. Firewood is available for use in the off-season months. This area is wooded. Grill out and enjoy the evenings in the backyard with your kiddos running around as you cook great local seafood! Other Outside Spaces: - There are front and rear decks with outdoor seating. - A relaxing swing is located in the front yard. - Peak-a-boo views of the ocean can be seen from the front yard. - The front yard offers plenty of room to spread out. Guest access The whole home is yours during your stay. Your keyless entry code works on the front door. - The neighborhood is very walking and biking friendly. The beach is a short stroll down the street. We have on site parking available. - Beach access is a 2-minute walk. - Pier with free access is an 6-minute walk (coffee shop and restaurant attached). - Multiple restaurants, coffee shops, bottle shop, brewery, ice cream, and retail opportunities within walking and biking distance. - Two full-service grocery stores are within a five-minute drive. Other things to note - Check-in is 3PM and Check-out is 10 AM. - We have Roku Smart TVs and we encourage our guests to bring their own credentials to use during their stay. - We do have several beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys available for use. Beach towels are not provided. Please be aware that these items are subject to significant wear and tear. We try our best to maintain quality beach gear, but the salt and sand sometimes wins. Please let us know if anything appears damaged.
