This cozy early 1900's 1-bedroom cottage is sure to create lasting memories on your vacation. It is perfect for a couple or small family. Come relax and cozy up by the gas fireplace while gazing at the stunning sunsets. It is waterfront, directly on Zukey Lake. 4 Kayaks & a paddleboat are available all year at no extra charge. At the end of the dock is a floating pontoon with a propane firepit that pairs great with your favorite beverage in the evenings. 20 min from Ann Arbor & Brighton. The space The rooms are small and cozy! This is not a place for a big party or big gathering, but it is perfect for a romantic or small family getaway, as the sunsets right off the deck are stunning! We are looking for guests who enjoy some quiet time and a peaceful retreat. This is also an original cabin-type stay with old style sink and oven. It is fully stocked with "extras" included at no charge to enhance your stay, such as snacks, coffee, candy, etc. FYI, for those not familiar with lake living, homes are within close proximity of each other. This lot is 28ft wide. Our own home personal lake lot is directly next door, so you may see us, if the weather is nice, out at our dock/beach frequently, but we will not invade your privacy or space. Guest access There is 1 outdoor parking spot next to the small, detached garage for your use. If you have a larger car, you may park in front of the detached garage on the road. It is ok to block that garage door. If you need 1 more space for a car, please inquire as to where we can find space. You will receive a code for access to the home 1-2 days prior to your arrival. Other things to note Do know that our dock is "seasonal" and is usually in from May until Oct. Sometimes, we can put the dock in the water in April. It depends on our lovely Michigan weather. Please inquire before booking if you need to know. The dock is in place for your relaxation pleasure. No rentals available on this lake either. Closest rentals are on portage lake, which is part of this chain of lakes. This is an owner operated bnb and not managed by a property rental company. We like to ensure you have a great vacation experience.
