Lakewood Lodge is a beautiful and spacious modern log cabin - the quintessential northern Michigan home! With lots of room to spread out, including 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, it's the perfect launching pad for your U.P. adventures. Take in the views of Lake Superior across the street and start your day on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking, hiking, and snowmobiling, accessible from the backyard! Downtown Marquette is 8 minutes away, along with tons of hiking, beaches, and restaurants. The space First floor: Large living room with gas fireplace and 65” TV with cable, well-stocked kitchen (dishes, cookware, Keurig, toaster, etc.), dining room, two bedrooms with queen beds, and an updated full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a desk with a 27” monitor allowing for quiet remote work or homework. There is high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house. Second floor: Large bedroom with king bed, 55” smart TV, and an extra-large walk-in closet, a second bedroom with two twin XL beds, and a full bathroom. Plus there’s a cozy window nook perfect for reading and relaxing after a day of adventures. Property: Two car attached garage, huge mudroom with a fireplace, fenced-in backyard with large deck and trail access, and a fire pit in the front yard with lake views. The trail can be accessed on foot through the backyard, and snowmobiles can access it about 30 seconds down the street. The home also has central air conditioning for those hot summer days. Views of Lake Superior from across the street (no lake/beach access). Guest access Guests have the entire home to themselves. The basement and shed are inaccessible to guests and remain locked. Entry to our home is through a digital keypad on the front door. The garage can used to store your gear and can be opened using the button in the garage. The private driveway can accommodate multiple cars and trailers, perfect for snowmobilers.
