Description

💖 Escape the city buzz without leaving Louisville. Wake up to 15 acres of rolling hills, explore mowed walking paths, and unwind on your private deck by the fire pit. Perfect for nature lovers and 'Louisville Loop' cyclists looking for a cozy, intentional stay. Experience the charm of country living—you’ll hear the occasional train and see our resident groundskeeper (my dad, Martin!) tending to the land.🌙🌿 The space 🚲 Location: Right on the Louisville Loop; 5 mins to Jefferson Memorial Forest. 🌿 Nature: 15 shared acres with a pond, creek, and wildlife. 🐾 Pet Friendly: We love your furry friends (pet bed provided!). ❄️ Comfort: Full Heat/AC and high-speed Wifi. We now rent it out to help generate funds for developing the property further. The 15 acres include the main house where my dad, Martin, lives (we rent out the spare bedrooms there) and multiple campsites across the creek on a separate 5-acre section. About 500 feet from the tiny home, there’s another camper that Martin uses as a hangout spot to watch for wildlife and enjoy pond views. We may eventually turn that into another Airbnb site, but for now it’s part of the shared property. This is a 30-foot camper turned into a tiny home with electricity, running water, heating, and AC. It’s compact but has been set up for basic comfort, with space for up to three guests. The deck offers seating and a fire pit, and you’ll have access to open outdoor areas. The property is shared, and you may see my dad, Martin, around — he lives on-site and might be out on his tractor, fishing, or riding his golf cart. While the property feels private in spots, it’s not fully secluded. There are neighbors about 1,000 feet away, and you may hear or see activity around the grounds of other Airbnb guests. This is a rural type area so neighbors honk or stop by sharing garden veggies or just to chat with my dad. Guest access Inside the tiny home you’ll find: -A small bar table for meals or coffee -A simple seating area -Heating and AC for year-round comfort -A compact layout designed for essential needs You’ll have your own parking area and direct access to the tiny home and deck. We ask that you park in the grass near the shed next to the camper as to not block the gravel road for others use. Guests are welcome to explore the mowed walking paths, pond, and open spaces during their stay. The land is in a natural state and still a work in progress in some areas, so you may see spots in transition. This is part of an ongoing project to make the property more inviting over time. While there are moments of privacy, this is not a fully secluded property. Neighbors are about 1,000 feet away, and you may see or hear normal activity — including Martin tending the grounds, using his tractor or golf cart, or spending time at the other camper. 🌼🐾. ✨🌿 Other things to note - The property runs on an older septic system — please do not flush toilet paper. - Landscaping and some outdoor features are still being updated. - This is a compact, simple space — best suited for travelers comfortable with tiny home living. - The property is within city limits, therefore it’s not completely remote or off-grid. - Martin, my dad, lives on-site. Pets are welcome with an additional fee but must be supervised and kept off furniture and bedding. A pet bed is provided. Please clean up after pets inside and outside. Early check-in / late check-out available for a fee when possible. Unauthorized late check-out will incur a fee. Please be mindful of our cleaners time and efforts. Winter closure: The outdoor shower is closed and unavailable for use Dec 15-Mar 15 Cancellations We do not provide refunds for cancellations, changes, or interruptions due to weather, road closures, power outages, or other Acts of God.
