With beautiful, rustic architecture, this home really embodies the "Poconos" vibe. With Insta worthy vibes and the absolute highest standard of cleanliness, The Chalet is the perfect destination for your next family getaway. The main floor of this home boasts a gorgeous tall ceiling, with an open floor-plan connecting the brand new, renovated kitchen, dining room and screened-in sun room. Also on the main floor is Bedroom 1, as well as a full bathroom. Outside the double sliding glass doors is a massive 200sqft deck with outdoor patio set, BBQ grill, and recliners. Up the stairs you'll find an open loft area (with a 60" 4K Smart TV and daybed) in addition to Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. Downstairs (ground floor) features a "Family Room" with 70" Smart TV and pull out (Queen size) sleeper sofa, in addition to Bedroom 4, and a full bathroom with enormous walk in shower. Like all Summit Lakeside Rental homes, The Chalet includes all the necessary amenities for a great time in the Poconos with family and friends. Included with your stay are a Propane BBQ Grill, all bedding/linens/towels/blankets, soap/shampoo, kitchen accessories, dish ware, laundry detergent, and so much more! Enter the home via self checkin using the lockbox. The driveway fits up 5 cars. DO NOT PARK IN THE STREET!! You will need a car to get around outside of the gated community. The Summit Chalet is located in Penn Estates, a gated vacation rental community in East Stroudsburg, PA. Centrally located, safe, and full amenities for vacationers, Penn Estates is the perfect destination for families and groups of friends visiting the Poconos. Within 15-25 minutes of the house you can enjoy everything the Poconos has to offer, including skiing, snowboarding, the Delaware Water Gap, Kalahari water park, 30+ restaurants, fishing, golf, hiking, hunting, ice skating, kayaking, mountain biking, rafting, rock climbing, atvs, snowmobiling, shopping outlets, Downtown East Stroudsburg, TreeVentures, and so much more! Amenities at Penn Estates include 2 olympic size pools, 3 large lakes, 1 lake beach, a gym, a restaurant, tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, and hiking trails. Nestled within the beautiful nature of the Pocono Mountains, the community offers a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere; perfect for relaxation. All Summit Lakeside Rentals homes are fully licensed and compliant with all state, local, and HOA regulations. You can walk to all amenities within the community within 15 mins. Beware the walk back is uphill. The lake accross the street is for boating/fishing. The lake beach/swimming lake is the adjacent lake, a 12 min walk down the street. This walk is flat both ways. You'll need a car to get around outside the community. Within 15 mins from Penn Estates (by car) you can get to Target, BJ's, and several grocery stores. We highly recommend a 4WD vehicle in the winter. The Poconos gets a lot of snow! The Chalet is located in the heart of the Poconos. The community is gated, and all cars/guests must be registered in advance. A 4WD vehicle is highly recommended in the winter. The safe, comfortable vacation community is walkable and serene. If you choose to bring a furry friend, there will be a charge of $100 per dog.
