A real home.., filled with things we’ve inherited, things we like. A proper Finnish log cabin from the seventies. Upgraded to modern standards. We use it often ourselves and want it to be cozy, with things we find beautiful. A garden and a sea view. All the shops and services you might need, just five minutes away. Take a winter swim before the sauna, a drink in front of the fireplace. For dinner, you'll find any kitchen equipment you might need A 55 inch TV with chromecast and a well selected Bluray/DVD collection. Stereo, plenty of books in English, board games and puzzles. There's of course wifi in the house, and a mobile router to take with you while touring the area. BIKES, BOATS & DOGS Two bikes to get around, one electric and on conventional, a rubber boat with electric motor if you're adventurous, and a good quality inflatable kayak. Down by the bay you can rent boats, SUP boards and kayaks. Dogs are welcome. There's a beach especially for dogs close by GARDEN & PORCH We have a big garden, we do our best with it. Glazed-in porch with extra heating for colder evenings. NEARBY A 24h open Supermarket just a five minutes walk away, meal planning isn't much of a problem ACTIVITIES For big city life, you have Turku 30 minutes away by car or by bus..., or you can explore the Archipelago Nearby golf course, you can go hiking, fishing, swimming, go bowling or take a beer at one of several local pubs. Parainen has its own, surprisingly active cultural life with live music, art galleries and events Four beds. Seven people is the maximum - Master bedroom: 160 cm double bed. - Guest room: 120 cm bed. - Living room: 140 cm sofa bed. - Porch: 105 cm sofa bed. - Inflatable extra bed, 105 cm For us it's a holiday paradise, let me know if you have any questions! Guest access Free parking. Room for three cars in summer. In winter probably less. Other things to note Our private things are placed in cupboards marked "Private". Plenty of space for your things in other cupboards, boxes and drawers. Besides normal kitchen equipment you should expect, you'll find a pressure cooker, Air Fryer, wok pan, kitchen scales, thermometer, mixer, food processor and many other things. As mentioned the house is not to be considered childproof by professional contemporary standards. It is possible to get burned by the sauna heater, cooking water on the stove, put the wrong things into electric sockets etc. Guests should be observant on potential hazards and be cautious in an unfamiliar environment. It's a normal home in a house from the early seventies. If you bring your own sheets the width of the beds are 160 cm, 120 cm and 140 cm. There are no surveillance cameras or dB-meters on the property. There is a temperature sensor and a smoke detector which will notify me when detecting smoke.
