The home sits right on the open lake and features a private dock, kayaks, paddleboards, and a pedal boat for easy days on the water. Guests especially love spending mornings with coffee on the screened porch and evenings watching the sunset over the lake. Inside, you’ll find plenty of room to spread out while still enjoying shared spaces. The living area, dining space, and kitchen flow easily together, making it simple to cook, play games, and gather as a group. The large dining table comfortably seats everyone, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for large groups — something our guests frequently mention and appreciate. The home works especially well for families and groups traveling together, including multi-generational stays. The main floor includes a bedroom with easy access to the kitchen, living area, screened porch, laundry, and a full bathroom, which many guests find helpful for older family members. The garage houses both a space for games such as a foosball table, corn hole and darts as well as a landing zone for lake gear. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and designed to accommodate different group needs. Please note that the fifth sleeping area is an upstairs loft. The loft is not fully enclosed and uses curtains rather than solid walls, which works well for families and flexible sleeping arrangements but may not offer full privacy for every group. There is no bathroom in the basement level; all bathrooms are located on the main and upper floors. Outside, the lake is truly the highlight. Enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. The private dock makes it easy to come and go, and included water gear means you don’t need to rent equipment to enjoy the lake. The setting feels peaceful and scenic while still being close to restaurants, grocery stores, and local attractions. This home is well suited for family vacations, group getaways, reunions, and celebrations where comfort, space, and togetherness matter most. Guest access Our home is your home during your getaway, and guests have access to the entire house and property. For safety and insurance reasons, the pontoon boat is not available for guest use. We’re located in a quiet lake community, and we kindly ask guests to be respectful of our neighbors, especially during early mornings and late evenings. Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Other things to note OTHER THINGS TO NOTE We kindly ask all guests to be respectful of the environment and take care of the surroundings during their stay. OUTDOOR CARE Our home is your home while you’re here. We encourage guests to enjoy the property and outdoor amenities and ask that outdoor areas are tidied after use. This includes disposing of trash or debris, returning outdoor accessories such as life jackets, paddles, deck furniture, and chairs to a neat and secure place, and wiping down any spills or messes that occur. OUTDOOR MAINTENANCE The interior of the home is professionally cleaned between stays. Outdoor areas, docks, and equipment are not maintained daily, so we appreciate guests helping reset these spaces so they remain enjoyable for everyone. WATERCRAFT AVAILABILITY We provide several watercraft for guest use, pending maintenance and lake conditions. Typically, this includes approximately three single kayaks, one to two tandem kayaks, two paddleboards, several paddles, and a pedal boat. Availability may vary, but we aim to offer a variety of options for enjoying the lake. After use, please remove watercraft from the water, turn kayaks upside down, and secure all paddles and equipment so they are protected from weather and ready for the next guests. OUTDOOR FURNITURE, FIRE PIT & GRILL Guests are welcome to arrange outdoor chairs and tables however they like during their stay. Before departure, please return items to a presentable arrangement, clean up any fire pit debris once fully cooled, and wipe down and cover the grill after use. A propane tank is available and may be refilled locally if needed. COFFEE & BASICS Coffee, tea, creamer, and sugar are provided for all guests. LAKE CONDITIONS Lake conditions can vary by season. At times, harmful algae blooms may impact parts of the lake. For the most up-to-date information during your stay, we recommend checking with the local visitor center.
