The Goodbread House has 5 private suites w/private baths. This rate is to rent all 5 suites. You have access to the full kitchen, the upstairs and downstairs kitchenette. The space The Goodbread House sits, nestled in the historic, downtown, waterfront district of the second oldest city in the US, St. Mary's, GA. (Saint, Mary's, GA). We are within walking distance of Cumberland Island National Seashore Ferry, restaurants, parks, and shopping. Carefully restored 1870's, each Suite celebrates famous lovers of yesteryear, such as Rhett & Scarlett and Guinevere & Lancelot. All suites are equipped with their own private bath. You can take advantage of an upstairs and downstairs kitchenette for your morning coffee or tea. When renting the entire home you can prepare your dinner in our kitchen and enjoy it in the formal dining room and perhaps some wine in the parlor afterwards. If renting the whole house you have use of a full kitchen downstairs. There's plenty to do here for the outdoor enthusiast, kayaking, golf, bird watching, the local railroad, the local theater, a dog park, antique shopping, diving, charter a fishing trip, or relax on a swing in the front veranda. You can experience Cumberland Island National Seashore.. We are a golf cart community with a golf cart available for your convenience. Pets are welcome. Rooms that house more guests than occupancy states constitute a $20 fee. Most of the local downtown St. Mary's, GA restaurants are pet friendly as well so feel free to take your pet along with you.
