Directly from the house you can also start mountain biking in the mountains. The most famous route is probably the Birkebeinerloipa, where the Birkebeinerittet is held every year in August. Here the route leads to Rena, about 92 km! Of course there are also many shorter tours. For example down to Sjusjøen, over Nordseter down to Lillehammer, but beware: afterwards it goes uphill again!
